A Little Business Update 🐾

I wanted to give everyone a little heads-up about a change coming to Paws and Claws ❤️

As much as I’ve tried to avoid it, the rising cost of fuel, products, equipment and general business expenses means I’ve had to make a small increase to my service prices.

I’ve genuinely held off for as long as I possibly could, hoping that costs would settle down and things would become a little more sensible. Unfortunately, they haven’t quite gone that way! 😅

The good news: any appointments that are pre-booked before 1st September will be honoured at the current price, so if you already have something booked, you don’t need to worry.

The new prices will come into effect from 1st October 2026.

I know nobody likes a price increase (least of all me!), and I’ve really tried to keep things as affordable as possible while still making sure Paws and Claws can continue to provide the care, time and quality of service that your pets deserve. 🐶🐱❤️

Thank you, as always, for supporting my little business, recommending me, sharing my posts and trusting me with your precious fur babies. It genuinely means the world. 🥰

☀️ HOT WEATHER WARNING ☀️
If you're struggling in this heat, imagine wearing a fur coat all day!
Please keep your pets safe during the hot weather: 🐾 Walk dogs early morning or late evening 🐾 Check pavements with your hand – if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for their paws 🐾 Make sure fresh water is always available 🐾 Provide plenty of shade and cool places to rest 🐾 Never leave pets in cars – even for a few minutes 🐾 Watch for signs of heatstroke such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse
Remember: dogs die in hot cars, but they can also suffer heatstroke during walks and playtime.
Stay cool, stay hydrated, and give your furry friends lots of extra care during this heatwave! ❤️🐶🐱
