These past few weeks I had numerous last min cancellations or no shows.
It does affect my little business in a large scale.
If you find someone better, cheaper or etc please have a decency to cancel your appointment.
I do understand that last minute emergencies happen and I do appreciate it and I do try to accommodate it.

This message is to the CUSTOMERS and OTHER GROOMERS.

GROOMERS:

If the dog bites or behave aggressively PLEASE tell the owner. Lying do not make any favours to the dog!
YOU NEED TO WORK WITH THE OWNER TO SOLVE BEHAVIOUR ISSUES.
Then the owner goes to someone honest and is completely oblivious when they are told what their dog is like.

OWNERS:

Please tell the groomer if your dog has behaviour issues. We will take a different approach to the dog and won’t get hurt. Doesn’t matter if it’s a small dog and he bites, what if he bites in the face?!
Lying to your groomer won’t make any favours. And being angry at her for telling the truth is not the way adult should behave.

❌ RAPESEED! ❌

It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the midst to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!

Rapeseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.

Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:

❌Haemolytic Anaemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog was reported to be suffering from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!
