Last summer was a tough one as a Dog Walker and gave me a shake to think creatively about how I continue to grow and serve.

Felt like a moment today…

As well as being a Dog Walker, I’m the very proud co-founder of and today we stocked our hero product - the 3-in-1 Barkt Bottle in ‘s NEW store in Bedford.

Personally, and as a brand we always want to help as many Dogs and their Pawrents as possible so we collaborated with NAWT at our earliest opportunity, donating £1 from every purchase to the incredible charity.

Myself and my husband chose to learn about e-commerce and began to build our brand last year and it has been a wonderful fulfilling journey so far already and growing exponentially each month!

You absolutely don’t need permission from me… but I hope this reminder finds anyone who needs it 🫶

You are allowed to be grateful for what you have and still push for more ❤️

You are always becoming, look how far you have already come just this year!

What is something you have already achieved in 2026 that you’re proud of? Comment to inspire others and get comfortable with sharing your success ❤️

In my opinion, particularly women, are not encouraged enough in society to make their achievements visible and I want to see your success, I’m proud of you whoever you are and whatever you have achieved ⬇️💕

Before you make the leap to become a Dog Walker most people have a moment where they decide, I’m just GOING FOR IT!

And you do, you go do it, you get everything set up and in place but sometimes after a few years (or more) you get to capacity and you think where do I go from here?

You don’t have to take on staff, you don’t have to keep working 7 days a week.

There are other options available to you ❤️🫶🐶

The dreaded issue of unpaid invoices 😬

As Dog Walkers our love of animals drives us, and we give lots of love and care to our animals.

If your anything like me, invoices is your least favourite job!

I found choosing a Sunday evening at the exact same time each week helped encourage people to get in to the habit of sorting it there and then.

People want to make sure it’s paid and settled, they do appreciate what you do ❤️ I genuinely believe it’s just that people are juggling a lot and forget.

I also choose WhatsApp over complicated apps, or email where so many things can get lost, it’s about making it simple and easy.
