Terms & Conditions – Small Animal Boarding & Sitting
1. The remaining payment is due before the service begins. Prices are based on the information provided at the time of booking.
2. Animal Health & Disclosure
All animals must be in good general health, free from infectious or contagious diseases, and suitable for boarding or sitting. Owners must disclose all relevant information, including medical conditions, ongoing treatments, special care requirements, dietary needs, and known behaviour issues. Failure to disclose information may result in refusal or termination of care.
3. Owners must supply sufficient food, bedding and anything else that may be required for the entire booking period unless otherwise agreed.
4. Standard of Care
I will care for your animals with kindness and attention, following your instructions as closely as possible. While I will do my best to maintain routines, please understand that some variations may occur.
5. Veterinary Treatment & Emergencies
In the event of illness, injury, or emergency, we are authorised to seek veterinary treatment as deemed necessary. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the owner or emergency contact first, but this may not always be possible. All veterinary and related costs are the responsibility of the owner.
6. Death of an Animal
While all reasonable care is taken, the owner acknowledges that animals may become ill, decline, or die due to age, underlying conditions, stress, or causes beyond our control. In the event of a pet’s death during the booking period, we will notify the owner as soon as reasonably possible. We are not liable for the death of an animal unless it is proven to be caused by negligence. Any costs related to veterinary care, post-mortem examination, or cremation/burial remain the owner’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
7. Liability
Boarding and sitting services are provided at the owner’s risk. We are not liable for illness, injury, escape, loss, or death of an animal unless caused by proven negligence. Owners remain responsible for any damage or injury caused by their animal.
8. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations or changes should be made as early as possible. Cancellations within 72 hours are non refundable.
9. Collection & Late Pickup
Animals must be collected on the agreed date and time. Late collection may result in additional charges. Animals not collected within a reasonable period and without contact may be considered abandoned, and appropriate action may be taken.
10. Right to Refuse or Terminate Care
We reserve the right to refuse or end care if an animal is aggressive, severely unwell, or if the terms and conditions are breached. In such cases, the owner remains responsible for payment up to that point.

By booking our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
