🐱 We have had a young black & white kitten handed into us at St Columb, we estimate the kitten is around 4-5 weeks old 🐱

The kitten was found near Fistral in Newquay.

For those of you following along on Gavins journey we are happy to announce he has successfully been returned back to where he belongs near the beach✨

A huge thank you to everyone who donated fish and your generosity to help us fatten Gavin back up and prepare him for his release back into the wild🌊

He was extremely grateful and we hope he lives a healthy and fish filled life🩵

🎉 Happy 9th Birthday, Rodney! 🎉

We’ve known Rodney (and his brother Del) since they were just little pups, and it’s always such a joy to see them grow. 🐾💖
Rodney popped in last week—just before his big day—for a tidy nail trim 💅, with his trusty licki mat keeping him happy and relaxed.

We hope you and Del had the best birthday! 🥳🎂🐶

✨ Meet Imogen! ✨

Imogen is our Animal Nursing Assistant.
She loves travelling, spending time with her dog Hugo 🐾 and looking after her fish 🐠.
Imogen is hoping to progress into veterinary nursing in the future and we can’t wait to support her through this journey💚

Gavin is doing well although still in need of further rehabilitation and care before he would be fit to release.

Cleo, the sweet little 4 month old cocker spaniel! Recently, while on her holidays in sunny Cornwall🌞 became acutely lame and painful on her right forelimb along with an obvious swelling and a high temperature.
After x-rays confirmed no orthopaedic injuries, with lots of rest, some pain relief and antibiotics, the swelling had reduced and Cleo was back to her happy, wagging self enjoying lots of snuggles and snoozing with our nurses🩵
Even during a busy day, we always make time for some extra TLC with our patients🐾

🐶🐶 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶? 𝗧𝗪𝗢! 🐾

These handsome brothers popped in for their final vaccines recently — and they weren’t phased one bit. 💪✨ Lots of tail wags, cuddles, and of course, double the cuteness! 💕

Once puppies have completed their initial vaccine course, it’s important to keep them protected with yearly booster vaccinations.
