Here at Mucky Paws Dog Grooming, we put your dogs needs first and tailor your groom to their individual requirements.

Well, what exactly do we mean by that?

Some commercial dog groomers work more like a production line, where the more dogs they can get through in a day the better. However, during your dogs time with us, our focus is their happiness and comfort. Making the experience something they learn to love and will look forward to!

🐾 Stopping when your dog feels uncomfortable or stressed and allowing them some time out in a safe space until they feel confident enough to carry on!

🐾 Cuddles, reassurance, play time and love given over multiple sessions all helps to let your dog know it is with someone who it can trust!

🐾 Simply, whatever your dog needs to feel safe, we do it. This adds time to the groom but it increases the quality of your dogs experience tenfold! Making sure they leave happy and stress free.

Do you know the hardest part about being a dog groomer? Narrowing down the 2531 photos I have taken today to a reasonable amount to put onto Facebook. Especially when you're as photogenic as Bella here 🥰🐶🩷

Bella is a 4 year old GSD whose owner has rescued her and is going above and beyond to give her the life that she deserves.

Bella's visit to The Dog Pod today involved cuddles on the floor, playing ball (both inside and out), a bath and de-shed followed by more cuddles and trust building 🥰

Taking that time to build a relationship is so important to putting your dog at ease during the grooming process and makes all the difference.

Bella left her first groom today a few kilos lighter and looking amazing, we hope to see her again soon 🩷🐕🐾

Spring is in the air 🌱

Who likes big fluffy boys? Meet Stanley The Golden-doodle 🐾 Today he visited The Dog Pod for a full groom and a blueberry facial 🫐

Stanley had quite the transformation, getting rid of lots of his tight compacted coat and getting himself ready for the warmer weather ahead.

He left The Dog Pod smelling amazing and looking like the distinguished gentleman that he is ☺️

Hello Molly 😍

I had the pleasure of picking up Molly for a bath, brush and feather tidy up today.

Molly is still a little bit nervous about the grooming process, so as always we take it at her pace giving her the time she needs. With lots of love and reassurance Molly was ready to be dropped back home. See you next time 🐾🐶🩷

This week in The Dog Pod is going to be a busy one! However there is still some availability if you would like to book your fluffy friend in for a pamper 😊🐾🩷

Because for some breeds it is vitally important to get them regularly groomed, we also offer a pickup and drop off service for those who need it. Making sure that everyone has the opportunity to keep their dogs coats clean, healthy and matt free. 🩷🐾

Please remember that we also stock a range of amazing designer spray mists for your dogs that we use when grooming. These can be purchased separately when bringing your dog in for a groom, making sure that your pooch is always smelling fresh 🩷🐾
