Something different to a bath 🐶

My dogs have had some fun playing in the water as it’s been so hot!!

Just a warning with temperatures rising to 30 and above I may move grooming appointments to earlier in the day or to a cooler day, depending on the day and dog 🐶
Even though my salon has aircon and windows it can still get hot as it’s an outside building which the sun hits and using a high velocity dryer creates quite a bit of heat so it is best to think of your dogs welfare and just move your appointment to a few hours earlier or different days I hope you all understand 💞
I’ve already rearranged tomorrow’s appointments to different times and days and I’m keeping
an eye out on the other days weather to see if I need to reschedule them!

Dogs welfare and health come first I hope you all understand and please be careful walking at hottest parts of days, travelling in cars and making sure your dogs have plenty of water and shade 💞

My salon is suitable for all dogs, all breeds and all behaviours. Focused on rescues, dogs who need extra attention and support and those who may not get on at other busier salons.

It’s not about perfect grooms here but perfect doggy’s who are happy and healthy 🐶🫶🏻 (although we do our best to achieve the results you would like)

Happy Friday all 🥳🐶

What a sunshiney day to start of the bank holiday weekend! I am off Monday but will see you all from Tuesday. Make sure your booking in for your doggos grooms via my booking app especially considering this weather 🌦️

Blue had a bath after jumping in some very stinky and gross water so I used my normal shampoo which gives the dogs that lovely baby fresh smell you all love and then a purple brightening shampoo on his white bits to really bring them out!

Blue is originally a rescue with a bit of a rough background and was scared of a lot at the start but now he is really excelling at everything and I can do everything in the salon and he loves it!
Even a cheeky nap mid groom which is pictured at the end 🥰

Fleur and Fur salon in the sunshine ☀️

With the weather warming up and your doggy’s needing to get rid of some of that winter fur don’t stress about bringing them to the salon. We are an outdoor building with windows and doors able to open without risk of being near a road (just a relaxing garden) and we have an air con unit in the salon so it never goes above the ideal temperature for your dog 🐶
It’s very important to keep your dog cool in hot weather as I am well aware so I am well prepared for all dogs especially brachycephalic dog breeds.

And once the grooms finished and we’re waiting for the pawparent to pick up we can relax in the shade to the side 🐶🥰
