🐻 Bear Update 🐻

🐾 Still a handsome boy

🐾 His legs continue to be monitored by the vets, when he is fully grown they will reassess any surgical needs. For now his conditions are managed with osteopathy with Nicky from Saffron Dog Behaviour & Osteopathy, Hydrotherapy and pain medication.

🐾 Gets spoilt rotten by the guys in Costa - Saffron Walden and Pets UK, with Pup Cups and Biscuits.

🐾 Loves muddy puddles and a bath, he particularly enjoys the blow dryer 💅🏻 he also tries to reciprocate the grooming with nibbles 🥺.

🐾 He is happiest at home with his 7 year old and Bonnie - a Romanian shepherd, but must have their daily ramble through the woods.

🐾 He has an impeccable heel, and picks training up quickly. Learning to speak his language has had its ups and downs but it’s been the most rewarding journey.

MYTH: Wildlife culling is needed to eradicate bTB.
FACT: bTB survives in soil, slurry, earthworms, and many species — deer, wild boar, sheep, goats, camelids… even a dolphin has tested positive!

Targeting one species is pointless. Science shows cattle controls work best.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MYTH: Mae angen difa bywyd gwyllt i ddileu bTB.
FFAITH: bTB yn goroesi mewn pridd, slyri, mwydod, a llawer o rywogaethau; ceirw, baedd gwyllt, defaid, geifr, camelidau…mae hyd yn oed dolffin wedi profi’n bositif!

Mae targedu un rhywogaeth yn ddibwrpas. Mae gwyddoniaeth yn dangos mai rheolaethau gwartheg sy'n gweithio orau.
