Our beautiful lady "chocolate" has arrived with us safely, she's a cool 16.3 at the moment and being a 3yr old she's got some serious filling out to do!
She's a pure breed Irish Draught &
Sired by Black Hero who was sired by Gortfree Hero ♥️ out of a Mountain Pearl mare, chocolate was always going to have the most sweetest, kindest temperament, with both sire & dam being utterly perfect.

Totally un phased by everything - she really will make the best broodmare/ridden mare.

No vices lumps or bumps and comes with a free covering from anyone of our Irish draught stallions- Fresh/Frozen in the UK or Frozen USA-Kenya - Australia -Europe.

The 46th Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) Championship Show will be held at Onley Equestrian on September 6th and 7th, 2025.

White Lodge Stud are delighted to once again be sponsoring our favourite class...

The Amateur pure & part breed, owned, ridden & produced.

This class really does mean so much to the Irish Draught as a breed, we are fully invested in helping as many new amateur owners, breeders & producers.

As always we are happy to help & guide everyone & anyone that wants to get involved with the Irish draught, they really are a wonderful breed & they make exceptional crosses to pretty much any other breed.

Carrickrock Close Shave x Welcome Flagmount.

At 16.2 he's a real contender for a true middle weight, masses of substance & a huge amount of presence.

Strait & correct.

He would make a fantastic riding club horse, dressage, eventing, hunting type.

He has been shown, fun rides & seen hounds.

He's total quality, no lumps bumps or vices, had passed a recent 5 stage vetting & has a set of good quality X-rays, however open to any new vetting it x-rays if required.

Marti is literally ready to go & enjoy life.

This horse has no hang ups, a true gentleman in every single way.

Not spooky or silly.

Snaffle mouth. He has a wonderful soft mouth & a natural out line & carries himself very well.

Excellent to clip, box, shoe, get on & off, he's fantastic to school, excellent in traffic, hacks alone or in company.

A horse of a life time that deserves absolutely the only very best home.

His temperament is kind & gentle,
Always greats you with a kind soft soulful eye & his ears forward.

The most gorgeous, kind & very sweet good old fashioned Irish cob gelding.

Happy hacking - fun rides - low level riding club activities.

This chap is a typical cob, true to type in every way, he's has a genuine easy going temperament.

He's solid - 15.1 in height and 15.1 in width!
Will live in or out with no stable vices.
Fantastic to handle, bath, vet & farrier.
Happy to live alone or in company!

Food is this guys first love (no shocks there!)

Smurf does have a small Throughpin
This does not affect him in anyways and is purely just cosmetic.

Our Story............

Based in the essex countryside, White Lodge Stud is situated in the small village of Clavering, opened in 2019 by the owner Amy Seabon

Amy has spend over 30years with horses, ranging from classical dressage to Polo, her passion however has always been the Irish Draught & breeding.

Amy was given the opportunity in 2018 to buy and build her stud in Clavering essex where she grew up, after many years working in the city she decided to give it all up in pursuit of her dream.

White lodge stud is home to the beautiful stallion Carrigfada Grey Mist, or for those that know him personally “Conan”, formerly owned by Mr Bruce Thorpeley. Conan was purchased by Amy in late 2018 with the idea to carry on using him as a breeding stallion and also to pursue her showing career, Royal Windsor, Royal International & Horse of the year show are all penciled in the studs diary...... lets hope the qualifiers are kind & Conan doesn't take a fancy to all the pretty ladies........... updates on our page will keep you all informed if you wish to follow them..........
