📋 A Stress and Force Free Environment - Willow Pet Services strongly believes in making sure all our customers have a stress and force free experience with us. We believe in only using Positive Reinforcement methods and Positive Association. When aversive methods are used, stress in the dog increases by releasing the stress hormone, cortisol. Science has shown that when cortisol increases. learning and memory get suppressed. A dog that experiences pain, force or fear continuously can develop new environmental fear triggers, such as, becoming reactive to other dogs or people.
📋Behaviourally Controlled and Anti-Bullying Walks
Due to be being Canine Body Language experts, we are able to understand your dogs on a much deeper level compared to most. This knowledge and skill set allows us to spot when canine play is becoming too boisterous or not on an even playing field. We are constantly reevaluating our group walks and making sure our dogs are perfectly matched when it comes to temperament, personality and mobility; this is key to avoid any negative experiences within our group walks.
📋Maintaining Physical & Mental Well-being
With 5 Years experience working in Veterinary Practice and Vikki being a Qualified Veterinary Care Assistant, we are able to understand and spot important vital signs when it comes to their physically health. With this experience and being First Aid Trained, each client is within safe and capable hands when it comes to providing and maintaining their physical health. As well as, with our extensive qualifications and knowledge, we can recognise what most breeds are bred for and what keeps their mind healthy. With each walk, we make sure that our adventures are enjoyable and enriching.
