Koi Valley has now closed for business, we have hung up our nets and moving on to ventures new. We have current bookings for clients that are happening over the coming weeks, but not taking any more booked visits.. We thank you all for your support over the years, we have a genuine following, but wont miss those that call us 24/7 and want free advice. Thanks too all of you that made this Job worth it. We will announce soon a knowledgeable, experienced and known koi Health consultant that will be servicing our clients. Thanks again....

The benefits of an Ozone system are clear to see. The clarity is outstanding, the Koi health has been improved and consistently stable. We installed the system a year ago, this is the before and after pictures, year on year. Amazing to add such joy to Koi keepers ponds ❤️ reduced algae, reduced parasites, reduced pathogens, reduced viral issues and greater sterile environment.

A really cold morning in Stoke attending to some Koi with injuries. -5 and snow on the ground, at least the pond was heated at a pleasant 12.5c. Dealt with the issues and having to defrost the net a few times, ready for some milder weather to return.

A recent pond rebuild finished in the last few weeks. A clients Koi were outgrowing the pond, so the only option was to rebuild. A massive amount of work, the weather did not help. Redesigned and added 12000 litres. In wall skimmers, oase drum filtration bottom drains and auto top up. The finish is amazing and very pleased clients. Another pleasing project completed.

We have been very busy over recent weeks for Koi health emergencies and pre winter health check ups. It’s important that the water parameters are optimum and the fish parasite free. As temperatures drop as we move into winter the fish metabolism slows down and the immune system is compromised, should there be issues present, these can have a big impact on the fish health. Should you require or like more information on a pre winter health check, don’t hesitate to contact us.

We have been very busy on pond health calls, a change today installing an Ozone generator on a 40,000 litre pond. They have so many benefits and we will be monitoring the results.

A busy week on pond health visits. Lots going on, plenty cases of Trichodina and body flukes and some mild bacterial issues, and a pH crash. Keep observing your pond for any unusual behaviour, don’t leave it to late and keep up maintenance with regular water changes and test the water parameters.

After we assisted with EZ Ponds first Halo 1000i double window tank a few weeks ago, installed the main pipework that was going under ground, we have been back to complete the install of the filter system and water top system. A great looking tank with very happy customers.
