COLLECTION IN PERSON ONLY either from my home or at one of the markets where I sell. About me ... I remember being taught to knit and crochet by my mum when I was around 10 or 11, and when knitting came back into fashion when I was in my 20’s I took it up again, knitting in my lunch breaks at work! When I stopped working full time and was a stay at home mum I started again and started to knit aga
in for myself and others, as a way of passing the time. Then I re-discovered crochet, and I have moved on from the simple squares I made as a child, and have now made jackets for adults and baby blankets in more complex designs. Now I am no longer knitting or doing crochet mainly for pleasure I have to charge for items I make. It is difficult to agree a price which is affordable but still reflects the time I put into the things I make. It is difficult to fix an hourly rate as things can take weeks to make. I am not a machine who can knit or crochet 24/7! I I will agree a cost with you before I start, which will depend on the complexity of the pattern. The longer you can give me to make something the better the result will be, I cannot produce anything overnight! So whether its chunky blankets, cushion covers, baby clothes, aran knitting or crochet, I can make these for you, and I can also offer one to one teaching in both knitting and crochet if you would like to learn yourself. I’m also happy to pick up any unfinished projects you have lying around, either to complete them or re-use the yarn for something new. If you already knit or crochet yourself and find you are struggling with something, ask me, I will help if I can. If you would like me to make something for you, you can buy or choose your own yarns and/or patterns, or I can research for you. I can buy the yarns for you from Spanish websites or yarn shops. Since Brexit it's just not practical to buy from UK websites as I did in the past, but I also use a wool shop that stocks English yarns. There are thousands of free patterns available on the internet to choose from, however I will only use English patterns. There are many American patters online but American yarn weights are not the same as English and I could not guarantee the finished result. Yarn is available in the Chinos but although these will be cheaper you may not get the same result. I prefer to use the yarns recommended in the patterns or a good quality equivalent. There are so many more yarns to choose from now where the yarn makes the design of the finished project, which means that whilst the knitting itself may be basic, the effect achieved is stunning and is guaranteed to look so much more exciting than the boring knitted school jumpers we all had in years gone by! Finally please remember I am not a pattern designer. If you want me to make something for you, please find a pattern, I cannot create a copy of something from a picture. Please remember the patterns I use have been written and tested by experts, the credit goes to them. Thanks for reading. Pplease like and share my page, and if I have made something for you in the past, please leave a review for me!
