Well, it’s been a while. Last year ended up being a bit of a stressful year and not much art ended up getting done. I’m starting this year by digging out the pastel pencils and paper to do a pet portrait and ease myself back in. It’s still a work in progress but is going to be a gift for someone who lost their lovely doggo last year.

I’ve had a bit of a social media break due to losing my Dad early October. I found it really hard to find inspiration or motivation for art but I’ve started to get back into it again, so here is a sneak peak of the three pieces I’m switching between.

Well this one went through many changes… leaves, no leaves, three different flame shapes and a few different hand positions. I’ve never had so many discussions about the position of a thumb before but we got there eventually 🤣

While attempting to finish up some WIPs I somehow managed to end up with 3 more new ones instead… what can I say, it’s a skill 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 I did however manage to eventually get this one done.

And now I’m off to finish some other WIPs hopefully without starting any more new pieces in the process 🤣
