This has just shown up on my newsfeed and thought it was too lovely for those who would be interested.

My Grandparents were huge animal lovers (brought 4 Great Danes in to the family 🥰) and Lay Preachers. I know they would’ve loved to have provided this kind of service to fellow animal lovers.

I would take Willow along but I can’t trust she wouldn’t be scared of the person in the ‘gown of doom’ (she doesn’t do well with people in odd clothing!) 😂

All creatures great and small are welcome! 🐾

The Annual Pet Blessing Service is taking place at St Michael and All Angels, the daughter church of Ripon Cathedral, on Sunday 18 October at 10.30am.

This informal service will be led by Canon Wendy Dalrymple, with furry, feathered and scaly friends all welcome. 🐶🐱🐰🐦🐢

Please ensure all pets are kept on a lead or in a suitable carrier and come prepared to clean up after any mishaps! If your pet can't attend, you're very welcome to bring along a photo instead.

A lovely opportunity to celebrate and give thanks for our wonderful animal companions. 💗

A week full of lovely walks and plays. I thought I’d taken more pictures than I had 🤦🏼‍♀️

We must’ve been having too much fun!

This week we’ve played in the play park a couple of times, trudged through the woods, paddled and swam in the river and enjoyed playing with toys.

I try vary each walk to make them fun, fresh and exciting with a little stop for snuggles in between (my favourite part 🥰).

A huge warm welcome to Stan 🌟

He joined me for his intro walk this week so we could get to know each other a little better before he meets new friends at the play parks.

Stan’s a gorgeous, lively lab and I’m sure he’ll fit in just fine with my crazy bunch!

🐾 A little update from Carrie’s Companions 🐾

I wanted to give plenty of notice that from 1st October, my standard group dog walk will increase slightly from £12 to £13 per walk.

I've thought carefully about this, as keeping my services affordable is really important to me. However, with the costs of running a small business continuing to increase, I need to make a small adjustment to ensure Carrie’s Companions remains sustainable while continuing to provide the safe, reliable and personal care your dogs deserve. 💜

My discounted rates for my most regular walkers will remain unchanged:
🐾 Daily group walks (5 per week) — £55 per week
🐾 Two group walks per day — £22 per day
🐾 Additional dogs from the same household — £2 discount per extra dog

I genuinely love what I do and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses Carrie’s Companions and trusts me with their pets. Your continued support of my little business really does mean a lot. 🥰🐶

Another week of wonderful walks and visits.

This week we explored some new to us woods and even met some gorgeous cows.

I couldn’t resist saying a proper ‘hello’ after popping the pups back in the van 😍

What a busy week, just how I like it but sooooo ready for a chilled(ish!) weekend!

This week I’ve enjoyed home visits to some lovely cats, Merlin enjoyed snuggles and company. I’ve been on girly sleepovers - Dazzle, Girtie and Sitka at the beginning of the week then with Jet mid week.

George enjoyed some solo’s with Liam.

We bumped in to Ellie from Ellie’s Pawfect Pet care and enjoyed a walk with her pack and enjoyed some varied walks and plays.

Aaaannnd to top it off, we got some rain 😍

On Wednesday we welcomed new girl, Storm, to the pack.

She’s a loopy lab and we love her! Toy crazy and totally in the zone when the ball comes out to play! Move out the way otherwise you’ll be bowled over!

A very sweet girl who will be with us until her owner recovers after a fall 🥰🐶🐾

Every day’s a school day!

Today we enjoyed a ‘field trip’ to Thornborough Henge (the northern one….at least!) 4,500 - 5000 year old ceremonial henges now covered in woodland but very impressive nonetheless!

Stumbled on purely by chance after letting the dogs noses guide our walk. I love doing this when we’re in a place when on lead is a must. They sniff, rummage in the undergrowth and I just follow….though today it was me who decided we should cross a field to the henge!

What a lovely surprise to receive when dropping off keys after a cat visit 😍

I love my job and it’s made a million times better by having wonderful clients and their gorgeous pets for me to care for 🥰🐾
