🐾 Another Update from Animal Friends of Turkey 🐾
This week, we’re delighted to share the wonderful story of Bo ❤️
Bo was originally a Melez dog, and thanks to the support of Animal Friends of Turkey, we were able to help her on her journey to finding the perfect forever home.
Although Bo initially came to London, things didn’t quite work out as planned. Fortunately, she found herself in the loving foster care of Emma and her partner Arun in Leicester. It didn’t take long for them to completely fall in love with this beautiful girl and before they knew it, Bo had found her forever family!
Bo is a bundle of joy, incredibly clever, and eager to learn. She’s easily trainable, loves the great outdoors, and regularly joins her mum and dad on runs of up to 10km! 🏃‍♀️🐶🏃‍♂️
When she’s not out exploring, she’s a snuggly, affectionate companion who loves spending time with her family. She even travels into London with her mum for office days and as you can see, we’re not sure much work gets done when Bo is around because she’s just too adorable! 😍
As a young spaniel with so much love to give, Bo is a perfect example of the amazing dogs waiting for homes through Animal Friends of Turkey.
We help dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and backgrounds find loving families. If you or someone you know are thinking about welcoming a dog into your life, please get in touch. We’ll always do our best to help find the perfect match. ❤️

🐾 An Update on Wonderful Mr. Cuddles 🐾
We are so delighted to share that Mr. Cuddles is living his very best life in Hampstead, London, where he has become the beloved pub dog at his family’s wonderful, dog-friendly pub! ❤️
A true local celebrity, Mr. Cuddles spends his days greeting customers, soaking up attention, and helping his mum and dad, Mia and Harry, run the pub that everyone loves.
Wheia and Harry were looking for a dog, we didn’t have a suitable match within our own dogs. As we work very closely with Melez we were able to introduce them to Mr. Cuddles and it quickly became clear that they were the perfect family for him, and he was the perfect dog for them.
Mr. Cuddles is a little blind in one eye, but that certainly doesn’t slow him down. Like many ex-Turkish dogs, he initially found walking on a lead a challenge, but with patience, love, and consistency, he has come on in leaps and bounds.
And he truly lives up to his name! Mr. Cuddles will happily snuggle anywhere, anytime, with anyone willing to share a little love. 🥰
As you can see from these photos, Mr. Cuddles has found his dream home and the life he always deserved.

⭐️SURVIVOR NUMBER 5⭐️

Saved by AFOT's 8 year anniversary campaign✨️

If only this poor girl could tell us everything she has been through and all she has had to endure... We know she had an owner before. Her owner most likely abandoned her at the government shelter when she was injured because they couldn't be bothered to get her treated. They turned their backs on her and refused to help her when she needed them the most...

We have no idea what happened to her. We think she might have been involved in a big accident, where she was hit with such a huge force, that her front leg was cut off, and she received a blow to the head which left her with a crooked jaw. We hope that what happened to her was an accident, and that she didn't suffer at the hands of humans...

She was stuck in the government shelter, with a fresh wound still visible on the stump of her front leg, with no hope of proper care or treatment. We knew we had to get her out ASAP!

Despite everything she has been through, this girl is still so happy and so loving! Dogs' capacity to forgive and love humans no matter what they go through never ceases to amaze...

Beautiful Cooper, discovered with his 9 siblings in a remote area of the Turkish mountains. He is desperate to find his place and has moved to UK kennels for a better chance of finding his home.

UK kennels are expensive, but give Cooper the best chance at a fresh start.

🌟INTRODUCING SURVIVOR NUMBER 4🌟

Saved by AFOT's 8 year anniversary campaign🌟

Another poor soul has been saved from certain death in the government shelter thanks to the annivsersary campaign donations!

This sweet little girl was really struggling in the harsh conditions at the government shelter. She has kennel cough, a bacterial infection, and she is completely malnourished. She is weak and is so incredibly thin, but that doesn't stop her from wagging her tail non-stop!

She is so incredibly grateful to be safe.

She is now getting the treatment she needs, and hopefully she will soon transform into a strong, healthy dog!

Our latest government shelter rescue is doing so much better! Her spirit was completely broken when we got her from the shelter, but she has quickly turned into a happy, playful girl! She has had a vet check-up and has had her first vaccinations.

Time to start enjoying life!

⭐️UPDATE FROM SURVIVOR NUMBER 1⭐️

Saved by AFOT's 8 year anniversary campaign ⭐️

Our first government shelter rescue saved as paet of our anniversary campaign had a full trim last week. She is now finally rid of all the matted, bedraggled fur that she had probably been living in for months.

She has now left all signs of her past as an unwanted stray behind her and is ready to start afresh 🤩
