Let’s have some welcome post’s for our new recruits in for my two weeks residential training, here is Benji, a 7 month old working cocker spaniel that will be a pet gundog, I’ll be testing his ability in training and putting a training schedule together that best suits him, then in a couple of weeks he will have his foundation set then I can show his owners how to keep training going, he’s an absolute lovely boy with a temperament to go with it!! 😀🐶❤️

Little vid update of Nell one of our residential’s in for my two weeks training! She has done really well with her training but was slow to bond and trust me and the pack, but we got there in the end and patience has paid off as she really is responding well to training! She just loves to work and hunt, she doesn’t chase and controls nicely, her heel work is good on and off lead, she is a pocket rocket and she really needs to work! It doesn’t matter if you work them on shoots or just out for a walk, they are still going to work regardless, so let’s use this for training, her eye contact is fantastic and she is constantly looking at me! What a lovely girl 😀🐶❤️

Here is a little video of the lovely Cooper one of our residential’s, he’s been with us for 3 weeks this time and is coming back several times throughout the year, he’s really focused on what I’m asking of him, I’m keeping things very simple and not at all confusing, some nice retrieving drills, backing the leave it command!! 😀🐶❤️

How we roll at Merlingundogs on this hot bank holiday, Pack training!! Finished off down by the river to cool off, We have some residential’s back with us over these past few days Cooper, Millie, Chip, and the lovely Frog!! Nell is thriving from her residential training as a newbie! I absolutely love these pack training sessions! 😀🐶❤️

Let’s have a welcome to one of our residential’s in for my two weeks training!! Here is Nell, a pet working cocker spaniel, a year and half old looking for that recall when needed and heel work on and off lead she absolutely loves the pack training !!! GEDOOT THEN LASS!! She is equipped with the latest GPS tracking system for my peace of mind 😀🐶❤️
