Due to taking some time off and a relocation I am so glad to finally be reopening my business in Oadby.
I will be offering the following services in the Oadby and Wigston area

●Pet Sitting/Drop ins
●Dog Training
●Small animal care
●Basic grooming and nail clipping
●Free meet and great for every client

Hi. I volunteers at Idlewild Animal Sanctuary and the site is at risk of closing if we can not raise the money for a new site. We really need help to fundraise and save the sanctuary. 🌞 Our hot weather plan 🌞

😎 I hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather! Now the weather is getting nicer I would like to let you all know my summer plan before the hot weather comes.

🐾💕 Firstly, my main and only concern is the safety of your dogs- I will do what is best for them and always put their safety first. I will carry water on me at all times and they will be offered water whilst in transport. I also have 3 cooling mats available in the car

🌡️ ~18-20~At this temperature I will need to monitor any brachycephalic breeds and will cut the walk short if they appear to be struggling these breeds will get priority in early morning walks (6am, 7am, 8am)
Brachycephalic Breeds include: Bulldogs (French and English), Boxer Dogs, Boston Terriers, Pekingese, Chinese Shar-Pei, Pugs, Lhasa Apsos, Shih Tzus, and Bull Mastiffs

🌡️~ 20-23~ At this temperature I will need to monitor any elderly dogs, puppies, brachycephalic breeds and any dogs with obesity or underlying health conditions. At these temperatures this category of dogs will also have priority in early morning walks (6am, 7am, 8am)

🌡️~ 24-26~ At this temperature I will not be walking any brachycephalic breeds, elderly dogs, puppies or dogs with underlying health conditions. House visits will be available to replace walks
🐾Healthy dogs will be offered either early morning or late afternoon walks or house visits for between 20-30 minutes* depending on availability *These visits, where possible, will be carried out twice a day and I will provide enrichment games, water play and cuddles 💕

🌡️~27 and over~ At these temperatures I will only be offering early am walks, late pm walks or house visits for every dog.

🐾 If we are out in temperatures under 26 I will keep to cool areas such as woodlands.
❗️Walks will be cut short if I feel the dog is struggling in the heat.
🐾 Water will be provided at all times and I will try and keep walks as calm as possible- so ,sorry dogs, no tennis balls if it’s too warm!
❗️Please understand I will be potentially trying to get around up to 13 dogs individually so I may not be able to spend a whole hour with them.
🐾 If your dog requires sun cream, please apply this before I arrive.

💕 Please understand that, like you, I am not in control of the weather and I am still trying to keep my business going during these times, i’d much rather loose money than a dog. Please be aware I may need to change things at short notice if weather changes, or, god forbid, a dog is struggling and needs to see a vet.
Please let me know at the nearest opportunity what walk you would like your dog booked onto.

Morning walks will be available:
6am, 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am

Drop in visits 11am-4pm

Walks will then be available again 4pm onwards.

‼️Puppy Socialisation Package starting on the 1st of June‼️

It’s the time of year where lots of you have welcomed some lovely little puppies into your family! Your looking for ways to support your new pup, and some of you have messaged me to help! As I’m sure you understand, the long, energetic walks we do with the big dogs, really aren’t suitable for puppies. I follow the rule 5 mins walking for every month of their age, to ensure their bodies develop appropriately.

So what happens in a puppy social?
Puppy socials give puppies a chance to spend time with a new human, meet other dogs, learn manners, learn the basics, practice short pack walks, explore new places, in a controlled environment, giving them the chance to become more confident, well rounded dogs. Pick up and drop off is included too!

When they are then old enough, they will have the opportunity to become part of the pack, and come on big dog walks.

Puppy socials will be running once a week on a Thursday morning for 8 weeks, at the cost of £120 per puppy. Starting on Thursday 1st June. £50 non refundable deposit will secure your puppies space.

1. Solo Dog Walking: [£17 +£6 A.D] (previously [£15 +£5 A.D])
2. Group Dog Walking: [£15 +£7 A.D] (previously [£13 +£5 A.D])
3. Full day: [£35 +£20 A.D] (previously [£40 +£15 A.D])

It is with great sadness we are waking up this morning to the news that a true national treasure has sadly passed away during the night. Paul was a true gentleman in a every form quick witted and a caring soul, his love of making people laugh and living life to its fullest was shown in everything he did, The work he carried out for animal rescue homes is a true measure of the person he was no matter the animal he gave them the love and care which every animal should have.

You will be sadly missed by us all
