Hi all. For now I’m not taking on any new birds ect as I’m currently in the middle of building my new aviary and just don’t have the space right now. If you need help with anything I’m happy to advice also wags on water and we care are great rescues. Sorry for any inconvenience.

My most recent rescue. A crow nestling. Poor thing fell from its nest with 2 others that unfortunately didn’t survive. Parents never came back for him. So far he’s thriving and very noisy 😅

Update on Hope 🕊️

I’ve taken Hope to the vet, and I’m so pleased to share some positive news. It turns out he broke his leg a little while ago, but amazingly, it has already started to heal on its own.

His recovery journey now will involve regular physiotherapy from me, along with careful cleaning and monitoring of the wound to make sure everything continues to heal as it should.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated — your support has covered the consultation costs, and the remaining funds will go directly towards supporting my rescue and helping cover any further medical care needed for the birds. Or if anyone would rather a refund who has donated on my just giving page then please dm me.

I’m currently unable to close the fundraising page, and it also won’t allow me to update the story at the moment, which I believe is a website error. I have, however, moved the expiry date forward.

Went back to Ipswich today and successfully caught this pigeon (who I’ve named hope) with a bad leg injury. After taking a closer look all his toes are dying off and he’s got a massive wound at the top of his leg. I’m almost certain it’s Brocken and will need amputation. I’m going to contact the vet tomorrow and get this booked in. It’s not going to be cheap and I’m running of my own money so if anyone would like to donate and save hopes life we would really appreciate it 🫶🏻🐦

Fed the local flock in Ipswich today. I noticed one poor guy limping, one of his foot had gone rotten from string foot. A couple of others suffering with string foot too. Will head back tomo with all my equipment to try and save these guys!

Hello all. My incubator has just broke and with it being breeding season I need to order a new one asap! These are around £40 for a decent one so if anyone would be so kind to donate it would be much appreciated 🫶🏻thanks for all your support xx
