Bunny🐰
Our beautiful momma is now completely seperated from her babies and enjoying some well deserved rest 🫶

Bunny has been suffering with loose stools for several weeks now, after a vet check it was suspected that this was caused by stress. We did a faecal sample to rule anything out, thankfully this was all clear.
She started on a bland diet and some probiotics but sadly this still didn’t help.
She was always on guard at the door desperate to find a way out, she never switched off as she was still in protective mode for her babies even though she clearly had enough of them and was starting to get nasty to them, the poor girl was exhausted and became really unhappy in her foster home.

We made the decision to split her from her babies at 8 weeks old so we could focus on getting her better and happy.

A few days moving to another foster home her tummy has settled amazingly and is doing really well with her toileting.
She is a super needy girl that just wants to be with her hoomans all the time accepting fusses 🫶 she’s an absolute sweetheart.

We know splitting her from her babies was the right call.

She is booked in to be spayed next Monday, and I will be due to start her vaccines shortly after, then this sweet girl will be looking for her forever family as an only pet (she really does not like cats at all!)

Our sweet boys aero and Bueno, have had to be rushed to our vets this morning. All the babies have been fighting a sickness bug all week but sadly these 2 just weren’t bouncing back and kept losing weight and getting weaker.

They are currently at the vet’s on iv fluids and being hospitalised for the day and potentially night. We need to get them hydrated again to build up their strength to help them fight this illness!

We have everything crossed that they are back home in foster and with their siblings very soon 🤞🙏🏻

Please keep these boys in your thoughts and send get well wishes 🫶

Obviously being a Sunday and bank holiday it has meant they’ve had to go in as an emergency which comes at a cost. But right now that’s the least of our worries our priority is getting these boys better and well again 🐾

Poppy has certainly landed on her paws 🐾
She has well and truly settled into her forever home ❤️ slow introductions are being done between her new feline brother but we’ve no doubt they will be best friends very soon 🏡

Poppys story started when she was handed into a vets as a very poorly kitten, she was suffering with cat flu and had a severely infected eye, in which at one point everyone thought she’d lose it. Thankfully she made a full recovery and her eye now looks amazing!

She spent some time in foster as an only cat but she started to develop signs of single kitten syndrome! The pent up frustration of not having a play mate
She moved to another foster home where there were cats so they could teach her a few manners and we found this helped massively and her behaviours lessened! Although those naughty moments did still occur just not as frequent 🤭

Poppy went off to her forever home last weekend, with another cat who so badly wants a playmate, we know these two will be the perfect match ❤️

It makes us so happy to see this girl in her forever home living the best life after everything she's been through ❤️🏡

Oreo, Smokie and Otto can be homed as a pair and the remaining kitty can be rehomed where there is already an existing cat in the home🐾

Or if you really want you can have all three!🐈‍⬛

They can be rehomed with other cats, dogs and children🐾🤍

We have also added some cooling mats and fans to our Amazon wishlist to help keep the cats in our care cool as things start to heat up!! If anyone can help by purchasing some for our cats & kittens in foster, they would certainly be very grateful 🙏 Thankyou!

The chocolate gang have a special request!!🍫

From left to right, we have Aero, Dream, Bueno, Wispa & Bounty🥰

They have recently been weaned from their mama, Bunny🤍

Unfortunately, these babies have had poorly tummies over the past couple days & although still bright in themselves we were particularly worried about little Dream, because she was losing a fair bit of weight❤️‍🩹

The quick decision to book them all into the vets was made, and Dream had an anti-sickness injection. We were also given some probiotics to help solid their stools a little🐾

Please keep them in your thoughts and hope for a speedy recovery🤞🏻

Unfortunately, yesterday’s vet visit alone came to £286. This doesn’t include all of the other vet bills we have from the other babies that we look after😭

It’s National Donut Week!🍩

Which of course means it’s only right to post our sweet Princess Donut🥰

As many of you may already know, she came into us when some kind neighbours noticed she had a collar around her neck, which she’d also managed to get her leg through! The collar caused a nasty infected wound and the neighbours took her to a vets to begin treatment🤍

It is important for us to touch on here, that not all collars that are sold are safe for your cat. Please always purchase break away collars that if tugged on tightly, will snap open. It’s an inconvenience to buy new collars but it’s much better than risking injury or worse to your cat!🤍

Since then, she has been doing well in foster though it is clear she is uncomfortable as the wound is in such an awkward place to try to clean. We have sought multiple vet’s opinions and believe the wound may need debridement and stitching for her best hope of it healing❤️‍🩹

Being a newer rescue, we simply don’t have the funds for this, and are going to need to fundraise as much as we can, with so many cats currently in our care and more needing help!😢

We’ve had a very busy but successful weekend ❤️

This weekend we have said goodbye to Snowy & Ginge, Philipè and Poppy as they have all gone off to their new homes 🏡

We wish them all well ❤️🐾

We will share updates of these babies and their new adventure in their homes soon. 🐾
