JK Pet Services is looking for a new team member!

I'm looking for a caring, reliable and trustworthy individual (18+) to help provide dog walks and cat home visits for treasured furry clients covering South Reading, Earley, Lower Earley and Shinfield.

The role will require you working on a self employed basis, receiving a generous portion of each walk/home visit cost - an 80/20 split.

You will need to have your own vehicle, be happy to get appropriate pet business insurance, a DBS check and complete a pet first aid training course.

Flexibility is a must! You may be asked to do walks/visits anytime between 7.30 am and 7.30 pm although most walks/home visits will be 9.30 am to 2.30 pm Monday to Friday. Occasional weekends and bank holidays will be needed.

To start, the role will be ad-hoc with a couple of walks/visits a week likely but there will be busy periods where you could have a couple of walks/visits each day for a week. For the right individual, there may be the possibility to increase the number of walks/visits.

This role will be suited to an individual who has spare time, would like to earn a little extra money and loves to spend quality time with dogs and cats providing a high standard of care.

My one and only home visit today, Winston. 💙🏡💙

Today's cuddly toy of choice, was one of Winston's many carrots. 🥕 (He has a whole family of them. 🥰) That was until, the licki bowl came out! 😅 Nothing beats a tasty treat for Winston! 😂💙

It's been a quiet morning here at JK Pet Services HQ as most of my four legged clients are at home with their pawrents enjoying quality time together. 🥵🏡☺️

I've taken this quiet time opportunity to catch up on all my business admin, yay! 😄

I've also tried to get Millie interested in a new enrichment activity....

Peas are Millie's favourite snack 🫛 so, I thought she would enjoy some pea bobbing in ice cool water. 🧊 Millie was not impressed at my attempts to engage her in this new activity! 🤣 She looked at me questioning why I'd be so silly to ask her to pea bob.... I had to give her a helping hand. 🙄😅

With today being so hot, enrichment activities in the cool indoors is a great way to keep dogs' minds active. 🥵🏡
