Woody and Buzz were found as strays in West Berkshire and joined our rescue-rehab-rehome programme 2 weeks ago. Both were very underweight and nervous but today they had a check up and microchips with Lizzie Windlesham Village Vets . Happy to say they LOVED meeting the team and getting treats! These two really are so joyful and will brighten anyone’s day…they really do make you smile and laugh at their cheeky, chirpy characters 🥰 We estimate they are approximately 1 year old and even though they have put some weight on we still have a few kg to go! 😃

Buzz got a makeover today 😃 He joined the rescue gang with his brother Woody when they were found in West Berkshire as strays. Woody has been reserved but beautiful Buzz is still looking for his home 🥰
We are working on his recall and manners when playing with other dogs which is coming along nicely. Buzz would be great living with other dogs as he loves their company but no cats or furries ☺️

Dylan update! Dylan came to us with his previous owner with a view to starting puppy class! But when he arrived he was so petrified that his owner had to carry him and then he toileted down his owners front! There and then I knew that this little chaps only hope was to come and live with the Dog Trouble Foundation. His fear was so extreme that he needed the ‘Power of the Pack’. He didn’t trust humans at all BUT he completely trusted dogs. So that has been the ‘training tool’ of choice- the dogs (particularly Marley) who he immediately bonded with and who became an Uncle figure. Over time it has been a joy to watch him develop different bonds with each of my pack and to watch him now after a few months start to look at me and follow some vocal commands. Dylan is never going to be a dog that will cope with urban life but that doesn’t mean there is not a home for him somewhere…..even if that will end up being on Cottrell Family Farm & Strawberry Fields Glamping ❤️

🏡 FOUR YEARS IN KENNELS… MERLIN NEEDS HIS FOREVER HOME! 💙
The handsome Merlin came to us as an unclaimed stray… 4 years ago. That’s right — he’s spent nearly half his life in kennels, patiently waiting for someone to see how truly special he is. 💔

Merlin is a Saluki cross, around 6 years old, and he is everyone’s friend! A big softie with a huge character... he absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than a cuddle (preferably on top of you 😄).

This tall lad (he’s taller than some of us when he stands on his hind legs!) makes us laugh daily. He’ll quietly sneak out of his kennel when your back is turned and go sit politely by the gate, hoping for a walk 🥹

💙 About Merlin:
🐾 Full of love and energy – he LOVES off-lead zoomies and chasing his ball
🚗 Travels well in the car
🐾 Good with other dogs, though can be a bit full-on — fine with a patient companion or as an only dog
🐈 No cats or small furries
👧 Older children only (he might accidentally bowl little ones over!)
🏡 Needs a decent-sized garden and tall, secure boundaries

Merlin is bursting with affection and personality. He just needs the right person to share it all with. Four years is a huge part of any dog’s life, and it breaks our hearts that he’s still waiting 💔

Just arrived at Dog Trouble Foundation! These two beautiful boys are approx 1 year old, very gentle souls. They were found as strays, hence why they are a bit skinny! We need to name them so any suggestions? They will be available for rehoming in a couple of weeks once they have gained some weight 😃
