Do you have a passion for animals and want to build a career in animal care? Oscar’s Doggy Daycare is offering an exciting Level 2 Animal Care & Welfare Apprenticeship in partnership with The College of Animal Welfare! This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional pet care environment while studying towards a recognised qualification.

What You’ll Be Doing:
🐾 Assisting with the daily care of dogs, including feeding, walking, and monitoring their wellbeing.
🛁 Cleaning to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
🏡 Maintaining and cleaning enclosures to high standards.
📋 Observing animal behaviour and reporting any health concerns.
🤝 Providing excellent customer service to pet owners.
📚 Allocating time for coursework (1 hour/day) with support from a personal tutor.

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Qualifications: Level 1 & 2 City & Guilds in Animal Care/Management (or equivalent).
✔ Skills: Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, organised, and great at teamwork and communication.
✔ Physical Fitness: Ability to handle active dogs and perform daily care tasks.
✔ Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential if you can effectively commute to work everyday).
