Today I received some very sad news that one of my wonderful clients, Ruby, has sadly passed away.

My thoughts are with Sue and her family at this incredibly difficult time. Losing a beloved dog leaves a huge hole in our hearts, and anyone who has loved a dog will understand the pain they are going through right now.

Thank you for trusting Dynamic Dogs to be a small part of Ruby’s life. She will be remembered and greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Heat Update (For Tuesday 26/05/2026)☀️🐾

Due to the warmer weather forecast, I’ll be adjusting walks to keep all dogs safe.

Some walks will be going ahead earlier, with collections from around 8:30am, so we can get out before the heat properly comes in.

Any walks that can’t be safely done in the heat may be moved over to Wednesday instead.

This was one of my own dogs today after her walk — a tick found close to her eye and safely removed.

Ticks are very common in grassy and wooded areas, especially after walks through fields, long grass, woodland and bridle paths.

Please check your dog after walks, especially around:

👀 Eyes
👂 Ears
🦮 Neck/collar area
🐾 Paws and between toes
🦵 Armpits and groin

If you find a tick, use a proper tick remover and avoid squeezing or pulling the body. Once removed, keep an eye on the area for any redness, swelling or irritation.

A quick check after every walk can make a big difference.
