🌟 Getting to know your equine professional 🌟

Excited to bring you another amazing equine professional 🤩

AJD Dressage covering parts of Greater Manchester and some parts of Lancashire

🐴 Introduce yourself

Hi my name is Ania Dzieciolkiewicz and I am the owner of AJD-Dressage. I am a dressage rider who has and still is competing up to elementary level in dressage. Even though I am only 18 I am quite an experienced and quiet rider. I love working with horses any age, size or attitude.

🐴 Why did you start your business?

I started my business at the beginning of January as I had a tough month in December as I lost both of my competition horses in only 10 days apart and in all honesty I lost my love with the sport. But towards the end of December my close family and friends encouraged me not to give up on the sport and start doing what I love. So they all helped me start AJD-Dressage and I started to love the sport again as I was helping horses and owners love the sport again too.

🐴 Your greatest achievement.

One of my greatest accomplishments is taking my mare Connie to nationals as she used to be up there in the showjumping world and I changed her career to dressage and took her up the levels to elementary and that’s what made me love training horses because of the outcome it gives you when you finally get somewhere.

🐴 What do you love the most about your business?

The one thing that makes me love my job is seeing the smiles it brings when owners see how much their horse is coming on and enjoying their work.

🐴 What do you find the most challenging about your business?

Some things I don’t like about my job is when my new clients don’t tell me all about their horses as I am here to help and I can’t help if I don’t know what needs helping.

🐴 Your future goals.

One goal I do have is that every horse I train and compete gets to step foot into the national arena so people can see how far they come on even when they never believed it would happen.

Amazing achievements here and Ania has a real passion for supporting others to succeed. Give their page a follow and do get in touch with them for further information on available services.

This opportunity to support and share each other businesses is open to all equine professionals. If you’d like to give you and your equine business the chance to shine, drop me a message. I’d love to share a variety of different professionals 🐴🤩

Yesterday was the summer regionals at Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre and it was our first time competing in them. It’s a beautiful venue lots for Connie to see and get used to. And a lovely arena for us to ride our test. We came 3rd out of a very strong class scoring 70.93% and bagging us our ticket to Nationals in September. I’m a super proud of myself and even more so of Connie. She has took to her new dressage career like an absolute pro. And people used to tell me she doesn’t want to do dressage she’s a show jumper!! How wrong they were 😘

Sunday saw the summer area festivals sponsored by Petplan at Myerscough and what a lovely day it was. This was mine and Connie’s 3rd time competing in the area festivals and with the previous 2 not quite going to plan I was hoping this time would be better. It was!! Connie enjoyed herself for the whole test and we bagged 3rd place out of 36 in the novice bronze section. To say I was thrilled is an understatement. Here’s our test for you all to see.

One of Mine and Connie’s outings before we had the championships scoring 72.08% at the lovely venue Cockshot.

So King’a’ling has started his dressage outings. Our coach Tori Peter has allowed us 4 outings where we aren’t bothered about the scores. This is to get King used to being out and about.
For our first outing we went to Happa Dressage and came home with a red ribbon. At happa they split the classes into junior and senior and there was only 3 of us in that class and we scored 66.93%.
Our second outing took us to Cockshot a venue we have never been to before and there the classes were all one so we competed against all the seniors and we were the youngest there. We places again getting 4th place out of 9 scoring 64.62%
Our third outing took us to Myerscough another venue we haven’t been to before. This one was a lot busier than we have experienced so far with tests running in all arenas and lots of noise which King coped with magnificently. Here we scored 67.05% our highest score yet and placed a very respectable 6th place out of 17. Overall I am very pleased so far with Kings progress he just takes everything in his stride. He really is one of a kind.
Here are Cockshot and Myerscoughs dressage tests.
