Please be careful who you leave your dog with. This is so sad.
This is absolutely heartbreaking for Shadow and his owners. I know some walk along the loop line and live in the areas that are being searched. Please keep a look out.
He's been missing for a week now. Although there haven't been any sightings, he could still be out there hiding. Or if you know of anyone that has recently taken in a German Shepherd, please make someone aware.
Shadow was boarding with an unlicensed dog boarder at the time he went missing. They have said he ran off with his lead still attached after being spooked by fireworks. This same dog minder has had awful reviews from people who are now speaking up about them. So far, I am aware they have had dogs; die in their care, come back pregnant, come back injured, a dog with a spinal injury, and now one missing. They have been named locally as Owen and Rach Dempsey. Please make your family and friends aware not to book with these people. They have not shown any remorse. They have been unhelpful and uncooperative.
Again, people keep your eyes and ears open for Shadow and his poor family 💔
