A quick download of our most recent trip to west Cumbria. Sadly travelling for a funeral, but grateful that a sad trip took us to a really beautiful part of the country and even more grateful that the dogs were absolutely brilliant.

1 & 3. Sleepy dogs in front of the fire
2. Secretly best friends Astrid and Mendel
4. Discovered the hard way that one of the balls doesn't float
5. The wildlife on our doorstep in the morning
6. So proud of all three of our dogs being perfect on the beach especially when a shell was detonated mid-walk 😂
7. Last walk before our drive home, featured Mendel rolling in a dead crab 👍
8. The Birmingham stop on the way up, extra fraught this time around with car trouble 🙃

A dramatic and brilliant day out mantrailing in the woods!

We had teams Millie, Meme, Buzz and Cwtch out on long, aged trails in the very atmospheric woodland first thing this morning. Dizzy came out for some more work on foundation skills and dazzled us with her work ethic!

And this afternoon (with a bit less rain!) teams Quin, Bruno, Ginny and Deedee joined us. Sweet Missy came out during the major downpour of the afternoon.

Top marks to Deedee for being SO focused on her work that she didn't notice her handler go down and finished the job on her own 😅

Some days there are just no words for how beautiful the woods are!

A very interesting day weather-wise, relatively still, rainforest levels of humidity and episodes of bright, warm sunshine in between the downpours. It was excellent for visualizing the air movement when on the trail, seeing how the scent plumes and hangs in certain areas. And otherwise just exceptionally gorgeous to look at!
