What a day of surprise doggy meet-ups!🐾❤️

We bumped into out walking Geoff and Ralph, and Reggie had the best time bouncing around the long grass with them! 😄🌿

Betty brought her friend Russell along for a beach adventure, and I think it’s safe to say everyone was absolutely delighted! 🏖️🐶

And to top it all off, we ran into too! It was the first time Beau has met Elle's crew and it was non-stop fun… rolling around, zoomies everywhere, and happy dogs all round 🐕✨

Days like this are the best 🥰🐾

Recall is something I practise on every single walk, and it’s not just “training” to me… it’s one of the most important things I can give the dogs. 🐾

When we practise recall little and often throughout the walk, it builds trust. It teaches them that coming back to me is safe, positive, and always worth it. Not just when they’re in trouble, not just when the lead is coming out… but always.

I never want a dog to feel like being called back means the fun is over. I want them to learn that checking in is part of the adventure!

For some dogs, especially rescues or nervous pups, recall isn’t easy. The world can feel big and overwhelming, and distractions can take over in an instant. That’s why repetition matters so much… because every successful recall is a little confidence boost.

It’s also about safety. I can’t control what we might come across on a walk, but I can help the dogs feel calm, connected and ready to return to me when they need to.

To me, recall isn’t just a command… it’s a relationship.
A reminder that wherever they roam, I’m always their safe place to come back to. ❤️🐶

Ultimate joy on the beach having it all to ourselves... plenty of zoomies and investigating the rock pools 🏖🚀🌊 And a lovely quiet woodland wander for the afternoon crew with plenty of interesting sniffs 🌲🐾

Monday vibes: sunshine, beach zoomies and the happiest dogs ☀️🏖️🐾

We made the most of the gorgeous weather with sandy paws, salty air and lots of tail wags, and one group even enjoyed a run around at Ultimutt Freedom dog park too! 🐶🌿
