One of my little flufferoos had one in his ear a few weeks ago 😢 and there was me thinking ticks were going to be the fashion accessory this summer!

Take a close look at this dogs mouth we had in yesterday. Our beautiful girl came in happy as always but really licking her lips….. we knew something wasn’t right and here we are …. A nasty grass seed embedded in the roof of her mouth. We got it, she was happy, mum was even happier ! Check check and check again, they’re getting everywhere. We are always on hand to check for you, just give me a message 🥰

One year ago, I put out a post asking for dog lovers who were sick of their lifestyles to get in touch with me if they'd like my help in getting set-up as a home from home dog boarder, just like I am. I met the lovely Annette who worked with me for most of the year before going it alone and now solely running the very successful The Pawsome Hotel.

With summer fast approaching, there are some dates where the both of us are fully booked 😱 and some doggies who are not suitable to board with either of us (breed, size, our own dogs' preferences 💁🙈 etc.) so if you would like to know more about how you could change career / come out of retirement / earn some extra money around your current job, please please send me a message so we can have a chat about how to make that dream a reality 😍

Do not take doggos to Wicor Rec after heavy rain unless you’re willing to sacrifice any inch of cleanliness in your car or on the route from your front door to the bath 🤣 but we had fun!

All clean, warm, brushed and fed and ready to laze the night away 😴 not excited for fireworks this weekend, but prepared nonetheless! 🎆

Every year I get phone calls in the days following Christmas from people with puppies (8 weeks old in today’s case) asking if I have availability on New Year’s Eve overnight. I am so rarely negative or judgemental but PLEASE think before you get a dog for Christmas. They thrive on routine (Christmas is such an out of routine time as it is) and those first few weeks are so crucial in their development, not to mention that they need to be fully vaccinated and free from fleas, worms etc. before they socialise with other dogs or go on the ground outside (and it’s very common for puppies to have parasites as mum often passes them on, through no fault of the breeder).

Most doggy day care and boarding establishments won’t even accept pups until they are one year old or neutered/spayed. We make some exceptions to this but it’s not ideal! Just please make sure you think about suitable arrangements for your pooch before you commit to them and bring them home. Dogs are for life, not just for Christmas! ❤️

Merry Kissmas 😘🎄from me and my Christmas doggy pals! This year Santa Paws visited Leo, Benni and Bow, and Bella at Hannah’s House! Oh and of course Rexy boy, who is the luckiest little monkey with all his treats and toys from his friends 🎁🤗 They must have all been the bestest boys and girls this year because they have been spoilt rotten, had the busiest day, and have been soundo since about 6pm!! 🤣

The evolution of a kiss from Bella, to the point that she was so happy she was FULLY AIRBORNE is my absolute fave 🤣 we sent mummies and daddies videos of their pups opening presents and will most definitely be making that a tradition!

We all have full tummies 🍖 and hearts 🥰 and can’t wait to play with all our new toys again tomorrow!

Diary is open for Christmas 2023 - wouldn’t have it any other way 🎅🏼❤️ world’s biggest thank you to the pawrents who trusted me to give their babies a magical Christmas, I know how hard it is to leave them (but Disneyland, Cancun and Madagascar are the best of reasons to!!) And to everyone whose pupperoos have come to play this year, me and Rexy love you all so so much and are so blessed!
