Alfie Update ✨️

We still get so many of you asking how our Day One Dog Alfie is doing since his Diabetes diagnosis, so we thought it was time for a little update 🐾

Getting Alfie’s insulin levels right has definitely been a journey, but his pawsome family have been in his corner the whole time and we’re so happy to say he’s finally putting weight back on and starting to feel much more like his old self again ❤️ Even attempting to escape over the back garden fence like he used to when nobody was watching 👀

Despite now being completely blind, Alfie continues to amaze us every single day. Because he’s been with us for so long and knows us so well, he responds brilliantly to our voices and can still safely enjoy being off lead on walks with us.

He still absolutely loves meeting new friends, walking with all of his pals, and joining in with the gang. The warmer weather recently has also brought out one of his favourite activities - rolling around in the grass and soaking up the sunshine ☀️

We’re incredibly proud of how well Alfie has adapted, and so grateful for all the love and support everyone continues to show him 🥰
