22 April – 1 May 2026, University College Isle of Man

What do past participants say about our Ship Superintendent Training?

We can talk about the course all day — but it’s probably better to hear from those who’ve actually done it:

“The most important thing about this course is how it connects the theory with the practical side — and how you apply both in your day-to-day decisions.”
“If you want to improve your skills across the board and really understand what you’re dealing with day to day, it’s definitely worth coming.”
“For me it’s amazing that everyone is involved in workshops — they really give you tools to improve yourself as a professional.”
“You can improve yourself, but also understand other people’s perspectives and roles — which is just as important.”
“It’s a good mix of theory and real-life situations — very relevant to what you actually deal with.”
“I think this is the right place to practise, learn… and get that spark.” ✨

You know ships… but do you know Ship Management?

This week’s meetings in London highlighted something we see more and more across fleets:

Dockings are overlapping! Resources are tight! and technical teams are being asked to cover a lot?

That’s exactly where EMCS International can help, with practical support, including:

Riding teams & technical manpower (mechanics, deck teams, engine room support)
Mechanical works & overhaul support
Electricians available alongside mechanical teams
Flexible deployment across Europe, Middle East and Far East

Whether it’s a short-term requirement or a longer-term workforce, we are focused on the same thing every time: safe delivery, quality people, and getting the job done properly.

If you’ve got 2026 projects building up already, feel free to contact us for a chat. Always available :)

2025 = 25 Years of EMCS International Ltd!

This year, we’re celebrating something really special — 25 years of EMCS International Ltd! 🥂

From our Isle of Man roots to projects across the world’s shipyards and oceans, it’s been an amazing voyage.

We’ve worked with prestigious clients, built friendships that span decades, and tackled just about every challenge the marine world can throw at us. And through it all, our brilliant teams — divers, engineers, consultants, and support staff — have kept things running smoothly (and afloat!).

So, here’s to everyone who’s been part of the journey — our crew, our clients, and all those who’ve trusted EMCS over the past quarter century. 🙏

25 years down… and we’re only just getting started!

(Richard George) Been an incredibly interesting and worthwhile two and a half weeks covering for one of the EMCS International Ltd Labour Co-ordinators at Grand Bahama Shipyard 🇧🇸

An opportunity to gain a real insight into the workings of the shipyard, catching them at a point of huge development, with the first of two very large docks due arriving late 2025 (to be operational January 2026) 🛳️

Thank you to all of the shipyard team for being so welcoming and helpful during my time on the island 🙌

(Tough life I know but someone has to do it! 🏝️)
