We set up Rupert’s hide kindly donated to us by David a few days ago!

Lilly decided to try claim it for herself 🤦🏻‍♀️

She certainly doesn’t need a heated hide being an indoor bun! We’re excited to hook it up and put it in the wonky warren this weekend 🥳

Thank you David 🐰

Next week we have a big vet visit happening! 🩺

Jackson is getting a teeth and weight check, He recently had a dental however it was noted he lost a significant amount of weight, if he hasn’t put it on again we will run some bloods.

Bean & Casper are having their booster vaccinations.

Padmé is having her foot looked at again and we hope to form a plan of action for her!

Porridge is having a check up on his mobility to see if we’re moving in the right direction for amputation of his bad leg.

Scruff is having a lump in his groin investigated we think it might be related to his recent incontinence.

We are hoping this will be the last vet trip before Christmas however we said that last year and we ended up at the vets on Christmas eve 🫣

Lovely Harley is looking for her forever home 🤍

Harley is a stunning female french lop x mini lop who is 2 years old. Harley has been spayed and vaccinated.

Shes a wonderful big girl who does enjoy a head rub and food 😆. Harley has previously lived indoors and outdoors so she wouldn’t mind either.

Harley will need to be bonded to at least one other rabbit companion and live in an enclosure at least 3m x 2m.

We have just one week left to make sure every rabbit without a home feels loved and recognised this christmas 🎄

Here is our FINAL list of rabbits looking for christmas sponsors 🫶🏻

Jackson 🐰 - He to us after his owner wasn’t able to afford his dental needs. He recently had a dental procedure

Ollie 🐰- Ollie was surrendered after his owner left his eye injury untreated for so long it was bulging. His eye couldn’t be saved and had to be removed.

Nala 🐰 - Nala was bred as dog bait in her last ‘home’. The pack of jack russell’s ended up ripping her ear clean off.

Poppy 🐰 - When taking her on we were only informed of her and her partner however at the door we were handed two tiny babies.

Arlo 🐰 - He recently had a huge sterile cyst on his neck which was restricting his neck movement.

Plum 🐰 - She used to have strange seizure episodes. As an older bun she hasn’t had them but we keep a close eye.

Smudge 🐰 - He lived in a 2ft hutch for 7 years of his life. He came in with dental abscesses, spurs and very sad.

Belle 🐰 - She was found at 6 weeks old having been attacked resulting in a ruptured eye. She had an enuculation and Belle’s health has been a bit puzzling ever since.

Tiny 🐰 - She was labelled unbondable by another rescue due to her aggression. Turns out she was just terrified, After multiple attempts she bonded to Smudge!

Leia 🐰 - She came to the rescue with her brothers after a missexing lead to a lot of babies. The situation got out of control fast and that’s when the owner reached out for help.

Podge & Porridge 🐰 - The splayed brothers! Podge will be getting his leg amputated next year. Porridge on the other hand is a bit more complicated, He’s been doing well recently but we don’t know what the future holds for him and if he is a candidate for an amputation or not.

Your kindness means the world to us and we couldn’t be more grateful for you helping spread some christmas magic ✨🎄

Let’s tell Coco the little brown lop’s story! 🤍

A few weeks ago Coco’s bunmum applied to adopt from us, Coco lost her friend and her mum understood the importance of getting her another companion. After approval we booked Coco in for bonding with a single bun here.

First up was Dodger and whilst there was grooming Coco would often lash out making Dodger quite worried. We came to the conclusion that Coco was pretty much deaf and she couldn’t cope the one to one attention a single rabbit gave her.

We had a talk with Coco’s bunmum and decided to give a trio a shot! Enter Fish & Binx 🐰

This loved up pair recently came back to the rescue as their owner had a devastating change in circumstances. We were so excited about the possibility of Fish and Binx bonding with house bun Coco as we knew it would be a perfect match for the pair but we couldn’t get too excited just yet!

The trio developed the most wonderful bond over a week and have transitioned back home beautifully! We couldn’t be happier 🥰

Be good Fish, Binx & Coco, We love you!

Meet the hamsters of Hop in Your Step! 🐹

We currently care for a male Syrian called Eric and a male Roborovski called Nippy ☺️

We have helped rehome a few hamster friends this year, Cheeto and Percy to name two. We are always happy to help our little rodent friends! 🥰

Nippy & Eric are not available for adoption! 🤍

Our amazing supporters managed to get all 5 of the bunnies we introduced previously sponsors for their Christmas gifts and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Here’s the next buns ready to share their stories and touch your hearts ❤️

🐇 Loco, This tilty boy is an absolute ball of energy! He was found as a stray with a head tilt. Even after undergoing treatment he still remained unclaimed.

🐇 Rupert! He came to the rescue in a state, unable to walk properly, covered in urine scalds and reams of snot 🥴. With the help of some medication he’s comfortable and thriving!

🐇 Matilda is Rose’s companion and support bun, unlike her sister she isn’t problematic health wise however her attitude is the opposite 🤭

🐇 I’m sure by now our supporters know Lilly probably by her dramatics and constant vet trips 🤦🏻‍♀️ Lilly was originally rescued from a hoarding situation, she’s got spondylosis and arthritis.

🐇 Roxy & Rey the girls were rescued from a dog meet breeding facility. Rey is one of the 9 babies Roxy gave birth to before she arrived here. These two are Padmés support friends!

If anyone could consider sponsoring their christmas gift this winter we would be ever so grateful 🤍 The link is below 🎅

Jackson had a successful dental 🥹

Some may know that we always worry a little bit more when Jackson goes under anaesthetic as on one occasion his heart stopped, thankfully he was saved!

He had some nasty spurs, that being said he’s gone 5 months without a dental a massive change from when he only went 6 weeks before needing one 🤍

He’s snuggling with Nala feeling lots better.

Jackson’s dental cost £209.59

Thank you for all your kind comments about lovely Charlie 🤍

Jackson (left) was Charlie’s all time best friend within the group so he’s been a bit quiet since he’s been gone.

Jackson is also a dental rabbit however he is a lot more advanced than Charlie was.

He’s having another dental tomorrow, so please wish him luck! 🍀
