Yesterday I finally got round to finishing one of the new enclosures! 🥳

This huge 15ft enclosure houses 7 of our sanctuary bunnies, who have a range of different medical/behavioural problems 🤍

In this group we have: Nala, Ava, Charlie, Bear, Jackson, Joey & Aimee 🤗

Our lovely little one eyed baby got spayed yesterday! 🥳

Belle is feeling a bit sorry for herself. Her recovery has been slower than it was for her eye removal, but she’s moving in the right direction 🤍

She is having a post op check on Saturday!

Lilly is home! 🤍🥹 And most importantly she’s eaten and pooped 🥳

This girl gave me a right old scare, She’s used up all my tears but the most important thing is that she’s okay!

I cannot thank Magnolia House Veterinary Clinic enough for their incredible effort today getting Lilly better and keeping me updated every step of the way.

Lilly is back at Magnolia tomorrow morning for a review. She’s clearly happy to be home and back snuggling with Ollie 🥰

Our beloved elderly netherland dwarf Lilly is currently hospitalised as she’s in critical condition 😭

This morning Lilly was off colour, her blood glucose was slightly over the blockage indicator so we jumped in the car and drove straight to Magnolia house.

She’s having intense fluid therapy and pain medication along with regular x-rays to monitor the size of the stomach. Thankfully after 1hr 30 minutes of treatment she has started to show little improvements and her stomach has reduced in size slightly.

We are no where near out of the woods with her yet. Please please keep Lilly in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏻

Longer term residents Poppy & Bramble got adopted yesterday 🥳

We couldn’t be happier for them! We’re told that they have settled in really well and have been getting used to being spoilt house buns 🤍

We have been doing quite a lot of bonding recently!

We currently have a group of 7 and a trio on the go 🤍🐰

The group of 7 is a sanctuary group who have a mixture of health issues which makes them unable to be rehomed. Some of the rabbits issues within this group include: Dental & ear problems, Wonky limbs, behavioural truma & organ issues. They will all likely have a shortened life span due to their differences however they are going to live their best life in a new 15ft enclosure 🥰

The trio includes: Issac, Willow & Ash who are doing so well together! We hope this will result in Issac’s adoption next week 🤗

We have six absolute stunning rabbits available for adoption to be bonded with an existing rabbit/s or we would be happy to bond them into pairs for the right home 🤍

Today we welcomed Percy the male syrian hamster 💛

He is in much need of a cage and wheel upgrade. Which is ready and waiting for him when he wakes up tonight! He was unfortunately surrendered due to the owners allergies.

Percy will be behaviorally assessed and be up for adoption soon!
