Lainey is certainly stunning 😍

This gorgeous 2yr old sprocker came to us after being in a small family home where she started to display signs of aggression. When she arrived she wouldn’t allow anyone to touch her, remove a lead or come into the home 💔 She’s been with us for just over a week now & had come on SO quickly, we are so proud of her 🥹

Since being with us she has started a pain relief trial for some back pain which could be contributing to her behaviours, something we’ll be happy to discuss with potential adopters but we don’t feel this will cause her a longterm issue 🤕

Lainey will require a patient new home that will give her lots of time to decompress, and also understand her quirks. She can live in a home with other dogs, cats & children over the age of 16. She’d be best suited with a younger active couple or a retired older person who enjoys their walks 🚶

Her adoption fee is £350 & she comes:

🐾 Up to date on flea/wormer
🐾 Health checked
🐾 A neutering voucher to use at one of our veterinary clinics

Hello little Enola 🥹👋🏼

Enola came to us from the pound where she was an unclaimed stray, she was incredibly timid & nervous when she arrived. Showing signs that she hadn’t known a good life 😢

She’s about 5yrs old, and a little short haired chihuahua. Since being in foster she’s flourished & this is what they have to say about her:

‘Enola is a sweet natured, loving cuddle bug. She loves nothing more than to be on your lap having cuddles, if you stop stroking her she will nudge you till you start again. She can be very playful,lively and bouncy with our other chihuahua who’s similar size. Great on walks, loves her food and loves to sleep under the duvet’

We think Enola would suit being an only dog, she could be homed with other existing dogs but her new owners would need to be patient with her & have gradual introductions 🙏🏻 She can go to home with children over the age of 12.

ADOPTED 🩵

You’ve probably seen Basil highlighted on our stories & featured a few times since February this year. He came to us initially as a short stay as his owner was unwell, however this has turned into a longterm stay & he’s now been signed over due to his owners declining heath 😢

He’s a 9yr old neutered male Chihuahua 🧡

Here’s what his most recent foster has to say about him:

‘Basil needs would love a garden as his favourite thing is sitting in the sun with his eyes closed. He has his moments when he’ll get zoomies and will play for a few minutes in the morning and evening but mostly he just likes to potter about, investigate everything, and have a snooze. He has no problem with stairs but needs picking up onto the sofa, which is one of his favourite spots! He yaps at you until you pick him up 😂 He loooves to be brushed!’

He’d suit a home where he can lounge about & have cuddles with someone on his lap 🥰 We don’t have any upper age restrictions when it comes to rehoming our friends & he would suit an older person.

As most small breeds, he does have some quirks but these can be chatted about in more depth to people who’d consider adopting him 😉

A little kitten update for everyone on this Sunday Evening 🩵🐱

The four hand rears are doing very well, they’re about 4 weeks old now & starting to wean. They haven’t quite got hang of the eating part.. but they do get very messy 🤣🎨

Jasmine & her teabags are brilliant. She is THE BEST mum & all of her kittens are thriving. They’ll be 2 weeks old tomorrow & we can’t wait to see their personalities come out more 🥹

Officially introducing Sherlock 🕵️‍♂️🧐

Sherlock came to us from the pound after being dumped not once, but twice… 😔 He was so scared when he came to us, he thought he wasn’t worthy of love or kindness 💔 He’s been out in foster for the last few weeks & has thrived. He’s now a confident, outgoing little dog, loves his ‘walkies’, is very food motivated & thrives off other confident dogs 🚶

He’s around 18m old & we think a standard dachshund (he could easily be a cross). He will need a home who is patient with him whilst he comes out of his shell & appreciate his nervous quirks until he’s settled 🥰

A direct rehoming for someone who needs help 🩵

Honey is around 9 years old. He’s neutered, had been vaccinated up to date until recently.

He shouldn’t be homes with elderly, children or other cats. He doesn’t like being picked up but does like to sit on your lap. He’s full of character and a unique and interesting cat. If we are in the garden he loves being with you and hanging around and playing.

Wow! We’ve had an overwhelming response to the kittens we posted this weekend, please do bare with us whilst we get back to everyone 🩵

Don’t overlook some of our older cats though 😉 Meet Saffron & Sammy, a bonded pair, who were surrendered to us after a change in home circumstances. They’re 2 years old & have been out in foster, here’s what Karen has to say about them:

‘Saffron is a massive softie, she loves a lap to sleep on, and a chin and nose rub. Sammy is the more independent and inquisitive, although he still enjoys a fuss and likes to greet me at the door when I come home’

Kitten season is in full swing 😓🐱

These four babies are about 2.5-3 weeks old & were found with their dead mother 💔 We have no idea what happened to her but these guys found their way to us which is what matters most. They’re still being bottle fed & opened their eyes earlier this week, all are doing so well but they have a long road ahead of them without mum to learn from 😢

They’ll be bottle fed for the next week or so before we start their weaning journey 🍼

With the influx of kittens we are running low on kitten food, particularly wet 🙏🏻 We’ve updated our Amazon Wishlist below if anyone wishes to donate some food to us.

The reality of not neutering your cats, is this.

Yes the kitten stage is beautiful, cute & scrummy, but they grow up & need responsible, dedicated homes. Things can go wrong, really wrong & it is YOUR responsibility to then look after them all. Not give them away on Facebook when you think it’s too much work 🙄🤬

We’ve welcomed beautiful mummy Jasmine & her precious 5 little teabags this week 🫖 🥹She’s probably just over 12 months herself, way too young to be a mum. She’s doting on her babies & is so friendly with all our volunteers. None of these babies will be ready for another 8-9 weeks, mum is already tentatively reserved when she’s ready 🩵

Once the teabags are a little older we’ll announce their names, then we will start to accept applications for these beautiful babies 😻
