Doggie Day Camp offers unique daytime dog care, collecting your dog from your home and drop them back when the day is over.

We have 7 acres of pasture land for the doggies to explore all day long!

It is with a heavy heart that over the weekend DDC was informed that our lovely Maggie May had passed over the rainbow bridge🌈

Our hearts go out to Pam and family at this difficult time❤️
Nanna Pam has always spoilt not just Maggie, but both us humans and dogs at DDC and we have always been very thankful for all the goodies she’s provided to us over the years. We love you Nanna Pam💕

Maggie had been with us at DDC for many, many years, and although recently she hadn’t attended camp as frequently, she was always thought about and missed, especially during our events, such as Christmas and Halloween parties. Because as you can see, Maggie loved having a little photoshoot!

Although Maggie wasn’t one for running around and causing chaos, she loved nothing more than being by your feet and following you around, having fussesand cuddles. She was always so happy to see us humans, and the DDC van, especially after having her cup of tea and biscuits ready to start the day!

We’ll miss you Maggie May💔

🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREVOR🎉
The main man, the King himself, Trevor turns 6 tomorrow! He celebrated the only way he knows how, to be with us at DDC AND to bring all his campers party bags! Trevor’s been with us EVERYDAY since he was a TEENY TINY LITTLE puppy (see the middle photo) and we honestly can’t imagine camp without him. We absolute adore Trevor and he’s always SOOO happy to see us, every morning, 5 days a week. And he makes us feel so loved. Here’s to many more days and Birthdays with you Trevor❤️

🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOODY🎉
Today Woody turns 5! Woody belongs to Auntie Amy so as you can see alllll the campers were spoilt today with cake AND party bags!
Woody may be on the small side, but that definitely doesn’t stop his loud personality (and voice) from making an impact at camp. His little legs zoom him around and he isn’t shy from having a cuddle with Mam when it all gets a bit much for him. Here’s to many more Birthdays at DDC Woody!❤️

🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY🎉
Buddy turns 7 tomorrow, so we celebrated with lots of fusses and cuddles, some of his favourite things! Buddy always makes us humans feel very loved, and he’s more of a watcher than a dooer, so he’s been relaxing all day with Auntie Abbi, Auntie Amy and Uncle Kai being spoilt with cuddles❤️

Doggie Day Camp is thrilled to announce that our very own Amy is expecting her second child (third if you count Woody the dachshund)! We’re so happy for her, Sam, Freddie and Woody! But don’t worry, Amy will still be with us at DDC over the next few months until she goes on maternity. We’re sure all our campers and customers are wishing her and baby a happy and healthy next couple of months🥰

Meet the inspiration..

Hugo was only 12 weeks old when we bought him and I worked full time. I also lived in an apartment which meant Hugo was on his own for the majority of the day until I visited him every lunch time. For me this meant rushing home every day from work and checking on him (bumping my car in the mean time!). I lived on my own and my family all had their own lives and full time jobs. I knew I couldn’t rely on them as it wouldn’t be fair!

In the end I decided I needed someone to look after Hugo but no one in my area offered all day care, only an hour walk which worked out very expensive!! Dog walkers charged £15-£20 for an hour, to me this was a lot of money just for an hour a day. I also needed all day care for Hugo , the thought of him on his own, bored all day worried me! In the end I thought there is obviously a market for this type of service, surely other people are in the same situation as me?

Doggie Day Camp only charges £20 for a 6 hour day! We have a fully insured, crated van that picks up your dog in the morning, and drops them back once the day is over. Hassle free!
