☀️ HOT WEATHER REMINDER ☀️

With temperatures expected to reach around 28° on Friday, please remember that this is a huge jump from the cooler weather we've been having recently. Dogs haven't had time to acclimatise to the heat yet, which can make it much more dangerous for them, especially during the middle of the day.

As always, your dogs' safety and wellbeing come first. Decisions on walks will be made on the day depending on the individual dog, including things such as age, breed, weight, health conditions and how they cope in warmer weather.

Where at all possible, I will try to move walks to earlier mornings or later evenings when temperatures are lower. However, for lunchtime walks this may not always be possible, so alternative visits may need to be arranged instead.

If I feel a walk is not safe, visits may instead be changed to:

🐾 Home check-ins
🐾 Garden play/toilet breaks
🐾 Inside or shaded enrichment visits

If owners are home and a visit isn't needed, the walk may unfortunately need to be cancelled altogether as I will not risk walking dogs in unsafe temperatures.

Thank you for understanding and helping keep your pups safe in the heat 💛 Please also remember plenty of fresh water, shade, cooling mats if you have them, and avoid hot pavements where possible.

Spent some time with the adorable Maddison for few days last week why her mum had few days away. Shes absolutely beautiful 🩷🐾🫶🏻 sucha a little pleasure 😍 she come out for fusses and play time as soon as I come through the door. She missed her mum tho..
