Seasonal machinery operator

We are a family-run beef, sheep and arable farm and agricultural contracting business, based near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

We are looking for someone to join a young, hard-working and positive team from June onwards for the summer, and into the autumn for the right candidate and if your availability permits.

The role includes:
- All aspects of haymaking, including hauling and stacking bales (twin mowers, 8m tedder, 8m rake, 30' trailers)
- Topping (6m batwing)
- Cultivations and drilling cover crops
- Some general livestock husbandry, although this will likely be limited

What's on offer:
- Joining a close knit team that are young, positive and will value your input
- Modern machinery, all with GPS
- Accommodation available
- Very competitive rates of pay dependant on experience

About you:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Telehandler ticket preferred, but not essential
- Committed, positive and willing to put in a shift!

Another great week in the workshop with Andrew and Victor from Profitable Farming. Switching out automatic acid preservative applicators from an old MF 1840 to a brand spanking new MF 1842S for our friends at Sustainabale. As well as stripping an old kit to be moved later in the season for our friends at . Hopefully they get off to a great start for this years baling season, contact us if you want to be ready like them for whatever this years weather might throw at you.
