The 3 module online Environmental Educator course that I wrote last year for Learndirect is on sale (25% off) at the moment (I don't get commission, but it would be good to see it used). It was written with the aim that those involved in wildlife, nature, zoos, countryside, environmental education engagement could develop understanding and skills in this area and a L3 qualification in this field. It has been great to "attend" the 2023 EAZA Education conference hosted at Wroclaw Zoo, Poland via online link, real shame i couldnt be there with everyone. (Picture from my desk with the delegates in their group photo on screen 🤣😊)
Some really interesting talks and topics of discussion. I continue to learn more even after 36 years in zoo education.
Earlier this month I was also delighted to be a speaker at the ABWAK Symposium hosted at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
