Rainbow bridge 🌈

So heartbreaking when we loose a pack member.

I started training with Rosie as she had become territorial in the house and had previously bitten people. Rosie’s owner was very consistent with her training and in no time she was letting visitors come and go.

Rosie then started joining the pack walks. From being reactive with other dogs to running off lead with a pack. She certainly showed it’s possible to teach an old dog new tricks.

With mountains of character Rosie became a favourite in the pack.

Today the afternoon pack had an absolute blast at Who Let The Dogs Out dog park! I didn’t fancy getting crushed by any trees so made a last minute booking.

Louise at Who Let The Dogs Out is extremely accommodating and very helpful. The park is well maintained and has everything your dog needs! Toys, obstacles, running water, poo bags, p**p bin and a very sturdy shelter (tested today in the wind).

I’ve never used a dog park for my pack walks before but fair to say this lot thought it was great fun! Happy doggos 🐾🐶

Consistency is key!!

Recently I haven’t been making time for myself or training my own dog. These past few weeks I have seen a huge change in his training. Partly because he’s in the adolescence phase and partly because I have been slacking with my training.

Life gets in the way and yes I hold myself accountable for not making the time!

Today I took 20 minutes out my lunch and headed to Jolleys pet store to touch up on some very basic training.

It’s like with anything in life, you’ll only get results if you try. This has been a great reminder for me to stay consistent otherwise things will go to 💩 !
