Early morning walk and a play in Drycomb Beck for Max and Sam today before it got too hot.

I had the pleasure of looking after these fab two, Rollo and Phoebe, yesterday while their owners were at a wedding.
They had a lunchtime walk in the woods up the Beacon to keep out of the sun, followed by a pop-in visit later on for a toilet break and feeding.
They were both an absolute joy to care for and I loved spending the time with them 🐾

Cool dogs are happy dogs.
Sam is a pup that likes to cool-off even on the milder days, so he’s stopping in the shade today till much later.

The warmer weather is lovely, but please remember our dogs can struggle in the heat 🐶💛

Make sure your pets have:
💧 Plenty of fresh water
🌳 Access to shade
🚶 Walks during cooler parts of the day
🚗 Never leave them in the car

Office views — chef’s kiss.

Funny how life changes (with some hard work and hard decisions I might add 😆)
Not so long ago, “office views” meant four walls, pressure, deadlines, and a never-ending stream of decisions.

Now it looks like this — countryside walks, happy dogs, and a bit of breathing room.

I know which version suits me better.

Archie had only just moved house when I started walking him, so he was feeling a little unsettled while adjusting to his new surroundings. With plenty of patience, consistency and lots of care, he’s settling well into his new routine and is growing in confidence every day. He is always excited to see his friend Sam too.

He enjoyed a great midday walk today, complete with a happy roll around in the grass. We even managed to catch a bit of sunshine and dodge the rain 😄🐾🙌
