Delighted to say that the boys have found a new family to love them, and I will still get to be their cat sitter for holidays 🥰

For the last few months I've had the joy of helping to care for two lovely teenage cats while their elderly older has been a bit poorly. Unfortunately their owner needs to go into care and the cats are in need of new people to love them.
Ollie is the black and white boy. He has a thyroid issue that is managed by a daily pill which he takes very easily in a little bit of chicken paste. He is a proper lap cat, loves attention.
Sully is the grey long haired boy. He likes to snuggle next to you and be petted. Both go out the cat flap for strolls and they would need to have outdoor access which is the only reason I can't keep them myself.
Please contact me if you feel you can offer these sweethearts a new home. They are currently in Innerleithen and we would like them to stay fairly local so the family can keep in contact.

Great to see some sunshine this week 🌞 after what feels like a very soggy 🌨 few months
It has been lovely to spend time with regulars and meet new clients over the last few months. I'm now off for a few days rest and relaxation 😴😎 ahead of a busy May.

💝 Happy Valentines Day 💝
Hope everyone is snuggled with a loved one like Ivy and Jonny, or gazing lovingly (most likely at a treat or a squirrel) like Lola.
Its been a dreich few weeks but lots of cats needing my attention has helped balance out the chill of dog walks and keeping horses happy in mud, wind, rain and snow. I'm sure I'm not the only one dreaming of sunshine and holidays and its never too early to get your pet care organised.
Easter holiday time is now pretty much full, as is early July and I've already got a significant booking over the festive period (🎄🎅)so will only be taking extremely limited cat/small animal bookings.
I have small chunks of time off planned, since weekends aren't a thing when animals need care and I am getting middle aged and tired easily 😴 , late March, late April, May into June then late August and Early December.

Hope everyone had a lovely time over the festive season and bounded into 2026 like Una the collie did 🐾
The first day of the year was much like any other day for me, with horses, hens, cats and gerbils all needing my attention 🐴🐀🐔🐈‍⬛

Along with all the lovely cats, dogs and horses I get to spend time with regularly, the summer holidays always brings me a wide variety of animals needing my care. Rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchilla, degu, hamster, ducks, hens and even stick insects!
I'm taking some time off at the end of August to rest, and end of October to get some pre winter sunshine.
I've not decided yet what my availability over the festive period will be, so if anyone is thinking they may need me please let me know asap so I can decide if and what I'm working.

Happy summer Solstice, hope everyone is keeping cool 😎🌞
Life has been busy as ever for the past few months and I'm now off for a few days to have a rest before the school holidays start.
There is extremely limited availability in early August for cat/small animal sitting, beyond that I'm now fully booked into September.

Towards the end of the year I will be making adjustments to my pricing.
For horse work, after the clocks change in October, my minimum charge will be £12 to feed and check horses and anything involving mucking out will be minimum £15.
The price for cat and small animal visit will rise in January 2026 to £12 per visit.
Dog let outs / short walks will also be priced from £12 from January, with no change to my group walk prices.

On the cold wet days cuddling cats is just the best 😻 but I've been lucky with the weather for some stunning dog walks.
Still some availability for cat and small animal care during Feb half term and Easter school holidays but July and August are getting very full.

2024 done, and it was another busy one with so many lovely animals to care for 🐶🐱🐰🐭🦎🐟🐔🐴.💕
Diary is open and filling fast for 2025.

Have a good new year when it comes, I've a curry in my tummy, a peach schnapps in hand and doubt I'll be awake for the bells 🍾

Not sure where the last 2 months have gone but lots of horses, cats, my regular gang of dogs I walk, hens, rabbits and even some sheep and a gecko have kept me occupied and I'm now off for a wee holiday in the sunshine ☀️😁🍹

I've very limited availability over the festive period and am reducing how much I take on over winter, particularly horse jobs as I physically can't do the mucking out and heavy work these days - middle age is tough!

2025 diary is open and filling fast with small animal care.
I've time off planned 24th Jan to early Feb, late March/ early April before school easter holidays start, 9th to 19th May, June just before school summer holidays, 25th Aug to 1st Sept and then I'll fit in an autumn break late October/early November

Enjoying a couple of quieter days this week after a rather hectic July. School holidays always mean I'm busy cuddling cats, walking dogs and checking horses, hens, chinchillas, degus and rabbits, but my mum being poorly has added to the general stress levels this summer. Very glad to see her on the mend now.
I'm fully booked until October and appear to have got my dates for school holidays wrong 🤦🏼‍♀️ and have planned time off from 19th (last weekend of the October school break) to 25th October. So anyone looking for pet sitting around that time please let me know ASAP. Limited availability through November and I'm undecided on what I'm working over the festive period.
Never too early to give me dates for next year, even just tentative dates, diary is already filing.

Woohoo, last job of the day done and I'm off for 7 whole days now 🥳 it's been a long time since I've had this length of a break, or a day off come to think of it, and it's much needed ahead of the busy school summer holidays.
