It's been an emotional week... im officially off for maternity 🥺 my amazing mum has worked wonders with everyone this week and I already seem to have been forgotten 🤦‍♀️🤣

Obviously I am still going to be visiting everyone at the field before I have baby because I just wont know what to do with myself without everyone!! Thank you to all of our amazing clients who have sent lovely messaged and welcomed mum with open arms 🫶🐾

3 YEARS!! 3 amazing, wholesome beautiful years of providing our services 🥺🫶 By no means has this been the easiest 3 years of my life, but it has been the best. All the late nights, super long days, managing a whole business all while running the walks. I have never been so grateful for anything in my life and I can't thank you all enough for making a girls dream come true ❤️ here's to the future and many, many more years to come with your beautiful doggos 🥰🐾

I’ve written since my “ELSA” sessions with Mrs Marriot back in primary school, not long before my dad passed away, though back then they just called it anger management 😅.

The first spark of inspiration came from my grandad Paul, who used to write comical northern slang poems that always made people laugh.

Mrs Marriot, who walked me through the grief of losing my dad to heroine, custody courts and social services, encouraged me to write whenever I was feeling low. When she passed less than a year later, I carried on writing.

My poems have been "kept secret" until now because there wasn't ever a time my words needed to be heard.

The Beeps Between Us was written for NICU, in the hope it can give something back and help other parents going through it. It’s our story in verse, with pieces for both parents and their children. 100 poems across 260 pages.

The other three books are made up of new and old poems. About myself, my past, and the way grief and loss have shaped how I see the world. Something I've done to occupy the mind whilst coping with the loss of Vinnie.

All are finished, being reviewed by Amazon and will be available in paper back and hard back by the end of next week 🤞

Making the covers, learning how to use Microsoft word properly and uploading to Amazon KDP has been the hardest part. I'm praying the covers are correct 🙏
