We are sure you aware that Red Tractor Standards changed February 25: requirement AM.3.1 was updated to say that at least one person who is responsible for administering medicines has undertaken training within the last 5 years and holds a certificate of competence/attendance.

At Larkmead, our Mastering Medicines course comes with a Certificate of Attendance but it may well be over 5 years since you (or your team) attended. If you need to re-validate (or have newer team members), please contact the office to sign up for our next workshop on the 6th of May. Please email [email protected] to reserve your place (£75pp, inc lunch and certificate of attendance).

Our next lambing workshop is on the 4th of March 10.00-13.30 at the Cholsey practice. This 3.5h workshop is an opportunity for those lambing in the coming months to increase their knowledge. The practical and classroom sessions will cover:
🐑 Pre lambing preparation
🐑 Pre- Lambing complications
🐑 Discussion on lambing techniques and any problems that may arise during lambing
🐑 Basics of normal lambing
🐑 Timings & when to call the vet
🐑 How to correct standard problems
🐑 Post Lambing care of Ewe and Lambs
🐑 Common problems with the newborn lamb
£50pp (lunch included), 50% discount for Health Club members. All welcome.
