The countdown is on to our Charity Music Festival at England's Rose, Postcombe (OX9 7DP) and it’s shaping up to be a brilliant Bank Holiday Monday!

🎁 We’re still collecting raffle and tombola prizes. If you can donate gift vouchers, bottles, new toys, chocolates, bath goodies or anything fun, please drop them off at Pet Paddock or England’s Rose pub. Every little helps and all prizes are gratefully received.

We open up our family paddock so you and your much-loved pooches have a safe, welcoming space to enjoy. We go out of our way to make it special. From the honesty shop to the dog treats, everything is done with care and community in mind.

So to walk into our shed today and find it covered in what can only be described as a disgusting mess — smeared faeces and urine everywhere — is honestly heartbreaking.

We’re a small, family-run space doing our best to offer something special. Please respect our business, our property, and the time we invest into keeping it beautiful for everyone.

Please keep an eye on your dogs.
Please clean up after them.
Please treat this place like you would want yours treated.

Thank you to the majority who do. We see you and appreciate you deeply.

If you are visiting us this weekend, please park on the first paddock to save your dogs 🐾 from the 🔥 tarmac drive.

If you need more water for you dog during the visit please use the tap at the front of the house.

Pet Paddock - A Slightly Sassy Shed Saga

Last week it was dog poo in the shed bin (yikes), and this week… it’s cigarette ends. Oh dear. Our poor little shed just can’t catch a break.

Now, we love having the shed open for everyone - it’s a fab spot for shady lounging, rainy-day hiding, or just a pit stop for your bits and bobs while your pup plays.

But - and we say this with all the love in the world - can we please be kind to the shed? 💛
That means:

🐾 Dog p**p? Pop it in a bag and take it home (as per our Ts & Cs - very official!).
🚬 Cigarette ends? Definitely not in the bin – we’d rather not host a bonfire, thanks.

Let’s keep the paddock pawsitive and the shed sparkling!

However, please can I ask that, as set out in the booking rules, take your dog poo home. PLEASE DO NOT PUT IT IN THE BIN IN THE SHED. The bin is for waste from purchases bought at the honesty shop.

He’s been out enjoying the field this morning and says:

Welcome to Pet Paddock, our secure dog walking field, where your furry friends can roam freely and safely in a spacious, enclosed area. Whether it’s a regular walk or some playtime, our field provides a peaceful and secure environment for dogs to explore and enjoy.

This Easter, we’re adding a fun twist to your visit with our Easter Egg Trail! Bring your dog along and join in the hunt as you stroll through the paddock. Hidden throughout the field are special Easter eggs hidden, numbered 1-10. It’s a perfect way to celebrate the season with some outdoor fun in a safe and enjoyable setting!

We’re now serving up ice creams, fizzy drinks and bottled water – perfect for sunny strolls, waggy walks and zoomies in the field! 🌞💦🐕

🧊💙 All drinks and treats are self-serve from our handy fridge – just pop your ££ in the honest box or use the QR code to pay online. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy 🍋📲

And don’t worry... your furry friends haven’t been forgotten! 🐕🐾 Free dog biscuits are still available for all good boys and girls (and yes, Eddie has done the quality control 😎).
