It’s still a bit of a touchy subject for us closing as it’s hard to admit defeat, but one thing I am happy about is finally clearing all the animal piece pics off my phone 😅

Today marks exactly 1 year since we opened Natures Pet Pantry… and also the day we’re closing our doors 😭

We are absolutely gutted. This hasn’t been an easy decision at all.

The reality is, we just can’t compete with the ultra cheap bulk products flooding the market right now. From day dot we made a promise that everything we sold would be ethically sourced here in the UK and that’s something we will never compromise on 🇬🇧

Relocating to Malton meant starting from scratch in an area (with people) I don’t know, which has been a huge challenge.

We’re so proud of what we built over the past year and so grateful for every single order, message and bit of support

We’ve now reduced everything on the website to clear. I don’t think you’ll find them much cheaper, they’re now less than what we buy them for. Once it’s gone, it’s gone and the website will be closing for good 😭

Thank you so much for supporting our small business, it’s meant everything.

It is not for the faint of heart having senior animals… and definitely not for the bank balance either 🥲
We have Princess, our 17 year old German Spitz, but we also two 8 year old Netherland Dwarf rabbits. Yesterday was two vet trips, today my house looks like an actual zoo and I’m currently running a full separation system because one bunny is on medication 🐰🐰
When you have older animals, you learn to zone in on every tiny change. I noticed my rabbit laying slightly differently and my gut just said something isn’t right. Straight to the vet, and they confirmed exactly what I was thinking.
The good news is it’s been caught very early and we’re hopeful medication will do the trick 🤞🏻
It’s exhausting, emotional, expensive… but it's a small price to pay for the years of joy they bring 🖤🐾
