You’d be surprised how many dog owners think because they only have a very small dog, that they don’t need to book a dog park as they’re lap dogs or too old, or don’t walk very well, etc, etc. Well, if you’ve not tried, you’ll never know. They may love the openness and freedom to roam off their lead and maybe give you a bit of exercise and freedom too having to walk to poo pick 😆 Having the park to yourself without worrying if another dog comes and attack yours and vice versa. And if they just sit there or don’t find it that interesting then you’ve only lost a fiver & 25mins of your time.

🐾Does your dog struggle to ignore other dogs on walks?🐾
Calm Canines – Dog Neutrality Course!
This 4-week course is designed to help your dog remain calm and focused around other dogs. It’s not a playgroup or social session—it’s about calm, confident coexistence.

Perfect for dogs that get over excited when they see other dogs on walks! Not suitable for aggressive dogs. (But please get in touch as there are other options)

What we’ll cover:
* Building focus and engagement around distractions
* Loose lead walking
* Confidence-building for both dog and owner
* Controlled, real-world practice in a safe environment
There will be two separate courses both at the same venue. One will be @ 16:30 and then the other will be @ 18:00.
Starts: 30/07/2025 (will continue for 4 weeks at the same time each Wednesday- Lakeside Secure Dog Park, Fellands Gate, Old Leake, PE229QZ
Small group (max 6 dogs)
If walks feel more stressful than enjoyable, this course is for you. No waves of a magic wand just patience and moving at a slow pace to suit each dog.

Pricing & Booking Information
Dog Neutrality Course – Calm Canines
4-week course | £80 total
This course is designed to help dogs learn to remain calm, focused, and responsive on lead around other dogs—without pulling, barking, or becoming overstimulated.
What’s included:
* 4 structured group sessions (1 hour each)
* A pre class teams call to discuss what will happen on the day and learn more about your dog. This will be 1-2-1 and must be participated in to join the class.
* Small group sizes (max 6 dogs) for personalised support
* Expert coaching from a qualified behaviourist
* A safe, controlled environment to practise real-world skills

Booking & Payment Details:
* Course fee: £80
* Deposit: £20 required to secure your space
* Remaining balance due before or at the first session
* Please note: Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs with less than 7 days' notice

Exclusive Offer for Graduates:
All clients who complete the course will be offered 1-2-1 top-up sessions at a discounted rate of £15.00 per session, perfect for continued support or specific challenges.
