Meet the team💚

Ellie – Dog Trainer & Dog Walker

With over 9 years of professional experience training and walking dogs, Ellie specialises in helping dogs and owners build better relationships through understanding, structure and emotional regulation.

Living with high drive working dogs herself, she has a huge passion for real life training that creates calm, capable dogs and not just obedience for the sake of appearances.

Her biggest belief? Relationship and regulation before obedience. Always.

Ellie created Ada&Co. with the vision of harmony and confidence for both ends of the lead. 💚

Craig – Pet Sitter & Dog Walker

Craig brings over 20 years of experience owning and caring for dogs and cats, and is very much the calm, patient heart of the team.

At home he manages a full house consisting of:
🐶 Bella the Cockapoo
🐶 Fred the Jack Russell
🐶 Wicket the Shih Tzu
🐱 Cookie & Pigeon, the two chaotic kittens

Whether it’s pet sitting, walks, enrichment or giving nervous dogs time to settle and decompress, Craig’s focus is making animals feel safe, comfortable and understood.

And then there’s the real management team…

💚 Ada - CEO, stooge dog & professional problem solver. May occasionally loose her head to water or wind turbines.

💚 Maeve – head of security and emotional support gremlin. Also identifies as the big scary shepherd.

Thursdays at Ada&Co. are our spaniel special😍 because who doesn’t love a spanner!

We usually get down and dirty (quite literally🤣) exploring in the woods, practicing steadiness, incorporating retrieves, working on scentwork, and just generally being crazy spaniels.

Our spaniels really do have the best time, and sometimes we even join them running😂 (disclaimer; I fail to keep up every time and they do 5 x as many steps as me).

Spaniel Squad:
💚 Ted who has ridiculous levels of drive, could hunt out a mole in an apocalypse, and runs at the speed of sound.
💚 Max who prefers a bimble and sniff, will always find the last bit of food in a scatter feed, and teaches the others how to slow down a little.
💚 Missy who is small but mighty, can definitely outrun a squirrel, and loves nothing more than a good cuddle to end a walk.
💚 Frank who is the crazy guy of the group (if giving heart attacks was a job, this guy would be a billionaire!), would spin all day given half a chance, and is a fiend for swimming.
💚 Daisy who occasionally switches her ears off if it involves digging holes, could give Shakira a run for her money when she wiggles, and is only mildly obsessed with rabbit balls.
💚 Bella who’s our old lady of the group but always keeps up, loves the sound of her own voice if you’ve maybe got a ball… somewhere, and shows affection with nose boops.

A showcase of our shepherd walking pals 😍

Often coming to us because of frustration reactivity, nervousness- or just being a touch rude and pushy with other dogs, but quickly turning into the best boys and girls!

We have our personal shepherd- Maeve- who is just a feral child 😅
Orla, who is an adorable puppy still finding her footing in the world and would previously react from nerves 😟
Onyx, who’s just a big baby despite his frustrated barking making him look a touch intimidating in the past 😳
Loki, who we’ve worked with since being a teeny tiny baby when he was very conflicted and reactive to the world 🧐
Indy, who has some frustration tolerance issues but is finding her feet fantastically in the pack 🥳
Nala, who was labelled ‘dominant’ but is actually just super levels of social and has had to learn to ton it down 😂
Henry (he has a bit of shepherd okay, and he sure has hell acts like it🤣) who is turning into an angel after being super frustrated on a lead and legging it to play with any other dog when let off 😇
And a special mention to Joey who’s a rescue so he could have shepherd or not, who’s worked hard learning to navigate the world despite not having the best eye sight or hearing- and actually learning to trust being around dogs in a positive manner 🥰

Mondays are for terrier club!

Featuring Bentley, Baxter& Eddie 😍 plus our foster dog Tato 🥔 and our pet sitter Craig’s little dude, Fred 💚

We have a few spaces available to join our terrier pack each week (and yes, we accept mixes!) for a countryside walk involving lots of terrier related activities. We’ll also work on training, being around other dogs peacefully (we know this is a hard one for terriers 👀) and getting them reliably off lead.
