As an avid agility competitor myself, I know just how much dedication goes into training and competing with our dogs. We put in countless hours of work, and our dogs give their absolute heart and soul every time they step into the ring.
Hex is my main competition dog at the moment, and he truly loves what he does. Like many driven dogs, though, he doesn’t always let me know when something feels uncomfortable or isn’t quite right.
The palpation skills I’ve developed as a Clinical Canine Massage Therapist allow me to regularly monitor his muscular health and overall wellbeing. By identifying subtle imbalances, areas of tension (hypertonicity), and signs of muscular discomfort early, I can address small issues before they develop into bigger problems.
Canine massage is an excellent way to support sports and working dogs, helping to keep them comfortable, balanced, and performing at their best—so they can continue doing what they love.
