hey dawgs, this is a bit of a sad post to write, but a necessary one 😔

after a lot of thought, i’ve had to make the difficult decision to put a pause on dog grooming for the foreseeable future (was hard to resist a cringe pun about ‘paws’ there, but now is not the time). although i’ve loved meeting and pampering your dogs this past month, the impact on my (already not great) back, wrists, and joints has been… intense 💔 as my gorgeous friend, grace, wisely said- ‘you only get one body’, so i’ve decided to listen to what my body is trying to say… and i’m pretty sure it’s screaming ‘WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING TO ME’ 😳😂

so with that in mind, i’ll be closing the salon side of things for now so i can try to repair this so-called ‘temple’ of mine (‘temple of doom’ might be more accurate rn lol). i’ll still be posting pics from the most recent grooms though, cos they are too cute not to!

BUT it’s not all bad news! i’m going to have wayyy more time to put into the pet portraits, art, and accessories! 🎀 so i’ll still be helping your pets look their cutest- without the debilitating pain! 🤣💓

thank you SO much to everyone who’s supported this journey so far, i’ve absolutely loved getting to meet all of you and your dawgs 🐕 hopefully you’ll stick around for this next chapter- and maybe i’ll even get to meet more of you! and on that note, keep your eyes peeled for a cool asf announcement coming VERY soon 👀✨

this pretty doxie had her first ever salon visit the other day (she came in with her brother, taiyo, who you may have seen in the last post) and she was absolutely golden ⭐️

the best thing about luna is that her snout is sooo long, it's nearly impossible to get a photo where both her eyes and her nose are in focus! 😂 that, and her soft af ears that i could brush ALL DAY LONG 💘

can't wait to have her in for a full trim soon! stay long, luna 😇💓

this gorgeous dog is a rescue from safe rescue for dogs 🐕 if you haven't heard of them, they're a local dog rescue that does the most incredible work, saving dogs from the devastating conditions they have to suffer in the overrun and underfunded shelters in romania. please go show them some love! 💓

we absolutely love romanian dogs (we have three in our house!) and would love to see some more in the salon 😏 thanks for coming in, taiyo! 🫶

his pink tail was created with temporary, pet safe, non-toxic, vegan dye which is even food safe (so it doesn't matter if he licks his tail) 🌱 aaaand it's flooding our brains with so much serotonin every time we look at his cute lil bod 💓
