So we have a few Q&A’s lined up for those looking to start sewing.

So don’t ‘dread the thread’… there’s alot out there on the ol’ haberdashery stand, but join local forums and you’ll soon learn what is what.

For sewing jersey or for a stronger hold I would recommend a ‘sew all thread’ swipe to see ➡️➡️➡️

Whilst cotton thread is lovely and soft it does break easily (as I found out when I first started out sewing!) and for jersey which already has a good amount of stretch and movement you need something 💪🏼

We are delighted to announce that Puffin&Pooch are now brand ambassadors for Mimi and Bee Fabric.

Mimi&Bee have always been a close part of Puffin&Pooch. From our first ever fabric purchase, to their beautifully presented recyclable packaging 🙌🏼 and best quality fabrics to sew. Dawn & Lizzie are the loveliest people to chat to and so helpful on matching any prints.

So what will change, well not only will we continuing to make our favourite baby/pet items which you'll see in our shop, but we will also be adding in some new designs and made up products from Mimi and Bee Fabric. Our sustainable sews will be supported with any offcuts from Mimi&Bee so less fabric goes to waste! And if you really like it we will have to just stock up more....

We will set up a little highlights tab here on insta so sewers - you will get to see what beautiful fabrics Mimi&Bee have, and our wonderful customers - you will get to catch up with any new projects were working on. If you love seeing projects come to life we plan to showcase our creative makes....

We are so excited for our new little venture with a fabric shop thats been with us since day dot.
