Thank you so much for all the messages of love and support off the back of my last post 💜

For those that haven't seen it; my boyfriend is having surgery on 18th August so I'll be taking a little time off plus reducing my diary for a couple of weeks so I can take care of him.
My diary is now closed to new clients and I'm fully booked until September.

🩼 LIFE UPDATE 🩼

On 18 August my boyfriend is going into hospital for a big operation so I'll be reducing my diary for 2 weeks from that date to help him recover.

I'll specifically need to take off 18th & 19th August so I'll be contacting anyone with appointments on those days to rearrange.

My diary is also closed to new clients for the time being.

How many Golden Retrievers could I groom in one day? Three is a new record! 🏆 It would have been just two but my own boy, Cecil, decided to roll in p**p 💩 on his walk with K9 of Mine | teenage & puppy dog training & behaviour | Cheshire 🤦‍♀️
Thankfully, I had Peanut And Pickle Black Cherry 🍒 come to the rescue! It's great for getting out those unfortunate smells 😬

Any guesses what breeds Boris is crossed with? There's 4 of them in there!

Boris is an angel for his groom and he loves the bath 💆‍♀️
His owners like him nice and short which helps keep him clean on all his adventures. I then give him a really cute round head to make him look like a teddy bear. Of course we keep those gorgeous eyelashes which, I think you'll agree, are his best feature!

Hey Punk Rockers 🤘

It's been a hot minute (in temperature 🥵 and time ⌚) since I posted a Weekly Pupdate! Keeping on top of my social media became a bit daunting so I just buried my head and tried to forget that I should be doing these things 🫣

Last week was a busy one with trying to catch up from some rescheduled appointments due to the hot weather. Thank you to everyone that I had to rearrange and was understanding 🙏 rescheduling appointments is never easy!

I've decided I'm pausing my diary to new clients for a couple of months due to some personal stuff going on that means I'll need a bit of flexibility. If you're a regular client that doesn't have an appointment booked, please get in touch because I can't guarantee I'll be able to get you in.

💪 Activating Mo*********ng Beast Mode 💪

I did something a little different today!

Not many of you will know this but I really love going to the gym and strongman/strong woman events so I thought I would enter my very first competition ☺️

It certainly wasn't easy and there were some events that didn't go as planned (I'm looking at you Deadlifts! 👀) but I'm SO proud of myself for doing it. No placement on the podium but middle of the pack was fine by me! 🏅

If you see me over the next few days and I'm looking a little battered then this is why 🤣

Can all my Wincham/Pickmere clients please keep an eye out for Luna? She was last seen near the Red Lion in Pickmere.
Let's get her back home where she belongs!

Missing Dog - update - has been found and is back happily with the owner

Luna is still missing, any information or shares are greatly appreciated.

Luna has gone missing in the woods near Wincham Brook at around 12 o’clock Thursday 2nd July afternoon. She was spotted on Pickmere Lane and Park Lane (Wincham/Pickmere) at approximately 3:45pm.

She has her collar on and is microchipped.

While she is friendly she’s unlikely to approach people or be willing to be approached.

If anyone sees her please let us know.

👌 Perfection is Boring 👌

I saw a post tonight by another dog groomer which really made my gears grind. A highlight from this post was; "A dog that's anxious, silly or nervous isn't an excuse for a crap groom 🤷‍♀️"
So I thought I would give you some of my "excuses" for my "crap" grooms ☺️

🙅‍♀️ Not really! These grooms are actually some of my PROUDEST grooms and here's why...

🐶 Merlin 🐶
I've been working with this crazy guy since March last year and he's gone from not letting me touch him to being able to *almost* complete a full groom. His feet will never be evenly cut because he just doesn't tolerate it.

🐶 Rex 🐶
Big baby Rex likes to throw tantrums and use his massive paws when he doesn't get his own way but he's only young so he just needs patience.

🐶 Riley 🐶
This gorgeous boy is probably one of my oldest clients and also one of my spiciest! I take Riley as short as possible so he doesn't have to come in too often. Less grooms = less stress.

🐶 Jezz 🐶
Jezz has been through so much for such a little guy 🥺 from being born with deformed legs to losing an eye. His owners know that his comfort is more important than the way he looks.

🐶 Eddie 🐶
He may be Scotty x Spaniel but Eddie feels he's actually a Rottweiler 😂 he can be very unpredictable with his reactivity but I'm still learning what his triggers are so I can make him more comfortable for grooming.

👌 At the end of the day, dogs are individuals and their care with me should be tailored to them; even if that means sending them home half done with a "crap groom"
👌 Not all dogs can come out of their groom being thoroughly prepped, evenly trimmed or looking good and I'll never put your dog at risk by chasing that if it isn't right for them

Wow...What a scorching few days we've had! 🥵 My AC has just about coped in these crazy conditions but some afternoon appointments have had to be rearranged; Big thank you to my clients that I needed to rearrange!

Just a reminder that I've got my time off in June coming up and I'm fully booked until beginning of July now. Please be booking in your appointments as much in advance as possible or I may not be able to get you in 😱
