After a much needed extended break from the royal world in which we have seen a lot of changes, we're back under a new name and with a new purpose.

We're changing our name to Calder Critters to reflect a move up North and the fact that our focus won't be royals anymore. We have actually sold all of our royals except for four that we produced. We kept the four that we have as they are our favourites and they could also be a future breeding project.

Recently, we have bought a pair of high red het hypo Apalachicola/Goins kingsnakes with the view to breeding them in a few years' time.

We still have our tessera het lavender corn snake and the collection of tarantulas. We won't be breeding the tarantulas and may one day get a female corn snake to go with our male.

We have also gotten back into aquatics and now have three fish tanks. We won't be intentionally breeding fish but if they decide to, well, may the odds be ever in the babies' favour... having said that our bristlenose plecos have had a successful clutch and I'm raising their babies in a separate tank.

So that's where Nirvana Royals, now Calder Critters, is at at the moment and moving forward this page will be more to share our enjoyment of the animals we have and the odd breeding project so won't just be royals anymore...
